Nice small family style restaurant. Sound wise quite noisy and cannot really have a conversation . Food is ok. Enjoyed the udon soup. However pork belly donburi a little disappointed. As the pork is the ramen style slices type and not the actual pork belly stewed pieces. karaage chicken portion is small and slightly burnt.

Great authentic Japanese food and atmosphere. staff very friendly and accommodating for gluten-free. I keep coming back and recommending as the food is so fresh and delicious.

Sumeshiya is our favourite for authentic, beautifully presented Japanese food. The service is great - friendly and welcoming, and the prices are very reasonable. We’ve never been disappointed!

We ordered tempura with rice and miso soup, chirashi sushi rice. All were good. Will be back.
