Great service. Food was delicious! Would definitely come back when next in Melbourne!

I have eaten here plenty of times and always been very happy but I was a little disappointed this time. The service wasn’t as professional (booked with a high chair but wasn’t already waiting at table) and the meals were slow. It wasn’t busy when we were there so I was surprised with the wait, especially the kids meals, two of them came out last. The food was delicious though, always is.

The food, service, drinks and atmosphere were excellent all round as usual!

A bit expensive, but the food and service was great! Atmosphere was also lovely and quiet. Would recommend to anyone who like steak, pasta and lambs, not much of seafood though.

We loved the atmosphere of Stray Neighbour, such a cute place with a good vibe from the locals. The staff were lovely, and the food was good quality, although a little expensive. The one thing I would change is the menu. Every main had cheese in it except one item, which is amazing for most people, but for my lactose intolerant friend it was really restricting. A wider selection of salads would be nice too, the menu is quite carb and meat based. Otherwise we enjoyed the night, and loved that it is so close to home. Stray Neighbour is a valuable suburban destination for an easy eat with friends.

First time here & the venue was a pleasant surprise ... warm & spacious & not too noisy given the hard surface fit out ... food was great value, tasty & a sufficient range to keep everyone happy ... look forward to visiting in the warmer months to take advantage of the garden area ... the website pics should reflect more of the venue ...

Great service, super tasty food and nice ambience. It takes a lot for me to give too scores so this is pretty epic. The crunchy chicken starter might have been better with the sauce on the side but other than that food was bang on. Thanks!

Everything about Stray Neighbour exceeded all expectations. Very happy diners.

Great food, service could’ve been better, didn’t really explain the menu, live music was great but was a bit loud and hard to chat between us at the table. Wasn’t a fan of the wine glasses with no stem too. But overall a nice night, would I come back? Probably not.

It was a busy night for the team but they seem to take it gracefully in their stride and carried on. Compliments to the Chef and his team as the food was amazing. Complements to the bar staff as the drinks were served quickly and made to perfection.

Food was fine but took ages and restaurant very noisy.

We had a great night @ stray food was awesome and service was good.

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Only two minor issues - very noisy and the pork special was a bit dry/over cooked.

Atmosphere is perfect for a chilled Friday night. Feed Me option is always delicious and very generous!

Had a nice night, great space, lovely staff, but the food was a bit underwhelming- Chicken was dry and came with half a baby cos lettuce as the salad, no chips. Steak was ok but but that’s all. Not better than pub food but well more expensive. Still, would def come back for drinks and snacks.
