Great food ! Good service, friendly staff ,yum,yum,yum, nice ambience

Have enjoyed meals at many of the Squires Loft restaurants, but this one has trouble getting the steak cooked correctly. Mine was overcooked.

We always head there for our family birthday do. We love it.

Food was amazing, and great service! Definitely be back again.

Not very impressed. Been there before and was very happy not sure what happened, if owners changed or chef, but steak not cooked like we asked. When we came in we had to ask if we could order drinks and if they would bring us some bread. We hardly saw our waiter/waitress. So overall we weren't too happy

friendly and attentive staff, food was good but not as good as expected based on the cost of the dry aged steak, for $64 it should be melting in your mouth. It was enjoyable and we will visit again.

We were very rushed. The steak was very good but the whole experience was ruined by the staff rushing to take our order and virtually throwing us out because they needed the table by 8:00pm. And the restaurant wasn't even full!!! I won't be back. There are many other Squires Loft restaurants in Melbourne with better service!!

Food tasty, service great BUT walking through air thick with cigarette smoke to enter and leave the restaurant was totally yukky as was the waft of smoke which flowed into the restaurant whenever the door was opened. A real negative so won't be going back, sadly. Also very noisy with other patrons talking.

The staff unfortunately got my husbands order wrong, so well the other three of us ate he had to wait another twenty minutes for them to fix it. Although it was better it still wasnt what he ordered. But the staff were pleasant about it and offered a discount on the total bill amount.

Staff friendly and service was great. Steak and ribs fantastic, and cooked exactly the way we ordered it. Baked potato absolutely huge. Could share between two people. Grilled veggies cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Slow service, overpriced and meal including steak very average. The time frame we were given (the early sitting) they were unable to deliver 3 courses. There were empty tables and some staff just standing around so it wasn't like they were under the pump. Back to Meat &Wine co and Hunter & Barrel for us

Great steak, large portions, no thrills place, I recommend the grass fed t bone for the big eaters you won’t be disappointed the black pepper sauce was perfect, the chips and desert were a little bit of a let down but the meat and char grilled veggies were delicious!

First time we have been to squires loft, nice restaurant, the staff were very nice and the food was really good. Will definitely go back there!

I always love the taste of the steak and ribs. Absolutely fabulous. The restaurant has the makings of a great one but is let down slightly by the atmosphere and service..

The food is amazing. The well done steak melted in your mouth. The staff were friendly and helpful although they could have come over a bit more frequently for drink orders. The only draw back was the noise. They need to put in something that will dampen the noise. We had to yell to hear the person next to you. Otherwise it was a good night out.

Air con not on and quality of steak definitely poorer than previous visits. Been dining at various SL’s for more than 10 years and this visit was a pretty sig drop in service and food quality.

We enjoyed a great atmosphere, with friendly service and awesome, delicious food. The waiter and chef took extra care with my special diet. Highly recommended!

The lamb scotch is amazing. Highly recommend it as well as the steak eye fillet. The service is always quick and efficient. I am a regular.

Just a little bit noisey because of the concrete floor but as always great steaks & extras as well very efficient staff & good prices. Not a cheap night but good value for money.

Just celebrated my son's 16 birthday there - all the food was excellent! Great for a special occasion. The steaks are always delicious, and I had a prawn caesar salad this time and it was superb.

Squires has the best steak in the world , nothing comes close. Great service , wine list and great people. You will not be disappointed.

Food as always was great. Wine selection is extensive and we always manage to find a wine to suit. Think the servers might have been new. Had a few hicups. But overall experience good.

Pork ribs are one of the best pork ribs I have tried

Went with family. The service was very good. I had the eye fillet. The steak was tender and juicy. The serving sizes were generous, and the wine list was good and reasonably priced. Overall, the restaurant could not be faulted. Ideal for a casual meal.

This is the second time I have been to this particular Squires Loft. The FOH staff were great. Very friendly and the customer service great. The meals were cooked exactly the way we like them. Ive never had a bad meal at ANY squires loft restaurant Ive been to. If you’re in the area - Nunawading - GO!

We had a birthday dinner there and we had excellent steak and ribs as usual. The best one after the south Yarra’s. will come back

Delicious food but unfriendly staff. Steak was delicious but staff were rude and the girl that served us when we went to pay was terrible. When we ordered my husband asked for ribs with fried onion as a side. The waitress said to us ‘ fried onion comes as a side already for the ribs you can choose another side if you want. I was a bit confused as it didn’t state on the menu that fried onion was included in the price so I said’ did you say fried onions come included as a side with ribs?’ She said yes so you can pick another side if you want. My husband then said he would have chips on the side. When the meals came they were fantastic and we really enjoyed them, when we went to pay we got the bill and we were charged for the fried onion. I said to the lady that we were told by the waitress that was included with the ribs. She got very irritated and angrily said so did you eat the onions I said we did and she said well you have to pay for them then I tried to explain what the waitress had said and then I pointed out the waitress who had told us the information and said you can ask her if you like. The girl on the counter then yelled at me and said I’ve taken it off your bill ok I said I wasn’t trying to make trouble and she just pointed the eftpos machine at me and stormed off when the payment was processed. Left a bitter taste 😞

Great tasting steak! Good seletion to select from. Excellent wine list. Not a lot served with the steak , salad or chips but not both. No mention of Grass Fed (which is expected now) Sauces almost $5 extra. Not a cheap night out but top quality.

Excellent Food and service. It’s been a while since I have eaten at Squires and it was as great as always. Love the mushrooms and feta
