Great fringe pasta special and dink special . Great service as always . Never been disappointed at this restaurant . Feel like we are in Italy

Excellent food lots to choose from and genuine Italian selection. Very good service looked after us very well. Good value would definitely go again but it is popular and I would definitely book a table in advance.

I have never ever had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. As usual, the service was fabulous, the food exquisite, and the atmosphere electric. Thanks Sorrento! But I was sad that the owner wasn’t there for the first time in ages. I missed his humour and effervescence. Hopefully next time!

There is nothing that could be changed to make this restaurant better. The food was impeccable, the service was on point and the atmosphere is perfect. This was our fourth visit and the highest standard is always maintained

The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. Very reasonably priced. We hadn’t been to Northbridge in a long time and it didn’t disappoint A great experience and we will certainly recommend and be back

The food was great, steak was done as asked, and there was no complaints from the others of the group about their food, items of the menu were not available but not the end of the world as the menu had a lot of choices, the service was the reason why only a 4 was given, we waited 30+ mins before an order was taken, and this was after having to ask to place the order. There was not a lot of clients as a reason for slow service, Had the service been better the rating would have been higher.

Great Italian restaurant with friendly, welcoming staff. Enjoyable atmosphere and alfresco dining area streetside. A variety of delicious main meals on offer with equally scrumptious appetisers.

As usual, the service and food was fantastic. The menu has a great variety of meals and they are all excellent. The atmosphere is always happy and the street is lively. Sorrento is definitely the best place in James Street.

Took too long to get main course. Got complimentary drinks due to that My veal masala was very average . The other 3 in group loved their meal Tomatoes were more tasty in the salad starter when visited before .

Loved all our main courses (four of them) - all well priced. Service was efficient, friendly enough, but not exactly cordial. One of the entrees (Cacciatore) was just a little bit too simple; just fried up sausage, not even a bit of parsley or something for garnish. Overall though, we were very happy with our night out.

Great service and food is always perfect. We have come here for years and never had a bad meal and the service has always been great.

The staff were amazing and so welcoming. Food was beautiful and very reasonable- we will definitive going again . The starter creamy prawns were delicious. It was like being on a holiday x

Third time we have been to Sorrento's, overall reasonably happy with the night, didn't appear to be real busy on Saturday night, 1 of our drinks orders throughout the night took longer than expected, had to ask again, apologies were made and order was received within 5 minutes. Main course took unusually long to arrive, I ordered the Red Emperor off the specials menu, it would appear it had been sitting on/in/under the serving area for quite a while, it was dry and the top of the fish was crusty. Must have been waiting awhile for our steak dish (1) and veal marsala (3) to be prepared. Timimg issue ?????? Only thing that saved it was the fact it was Red Emperor, the taste was ok. Disappointed. Remainder of our parties meals were good.

We would highly recommend this restaurant as the food was first class and tasted great. The table service was efficient and obliging. ...we will be back next time in Perth.

Great Italian food, many options, smooth service whether it be for a couple or family. Very relaxed atmosphere and great vibe. I’d suggest booking to ensure you can enjoy what’s offered.

Great food and ambiance. Waiter is very helpful. Nice table setup and in the middle of Perth city. We love the pizza and the sea food pasta. Will definitely come back again

Love this restaurant! It has a great choice of meals at a really reasonable price, and the food is absolutely delicious! The service is also fantastic, highly recommended all round.

Enjoyed being back @ Sorrento after some 10 years, food is still very nice and ambiance has not changed either. We had a very nice evening

Menu has changed since our last visit, felt food was ok, but not as good as before. Service was a little dissapointing in the beginning, improved later.

Service was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly. Minor hiccup with one of the main meals. The steak was served at room temperature. Which was quickly rectified with no fuss from staff.

A very enjoyable, flavoursome meal. Good serving sizes. Prompt, efficient and attentive staff in a very friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back to Sorrento Restaurant again. Thank-you for your hospitality!

We really enjoyed our meal and the service was very good indeed especially as it was such a busy night. Looking forward to next time!

Late Sunday lunch after Cinema Paradiso. Great typical Italian food, good service and a nice bottle of Chianti. Would and have recommended to our friends.

We both ordered Scallopine Marsala and it was perfectly cooked , nice flavour sauce and accompanied with fresh vegetables. Pleasant service and we shall return.

Food was good. Service friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere. A bit empty for Friday night. Good authentic Italian cooking and a good selection of wine.

I had seafood risotto and it was very tasteless and had minimal seafood in it. Servings very small for price. Our table of 8 were all very disappointed😩

Service was amazing, the guy serving us had a great attitude and very friendly. Food was really tasty and had a descent price point. Thumbs up

Our entree unfortunately was served cold in the middle, it was aranchini that may of been re heated in the oven , We had scallopini for mains which was sensational , so after a bad start the chef recovered very well. We politely advised our waiter of the issue with the aranchini and he apologised and the cost of them was taken from the bill. We would recommend this restaurant still.

Always consistently good here. Lovely ambience, great food. Only thing we would query this time would be the price of $26 for the ravioli special. A nice dish but not a main course size. Would have expected cost to be no more than $18. Otherwise fabulous and we will of course keep coming!

We go here alot but it seems to have changed and wasnt great. The menus has changed and the portions were quite small. Probably wont go back

Overall the Food was delicious and the Customer service was great but there was a little understanding about the meal options, so next time I go there I know exactly what I want 🙂

The food at Sorrento was fab as always. The wait staff were very efficient and pleasant. Only glitch was having to wait for the correct dessert to be served.

Very nice restaurant. Lots of variety from a food and booze perspective and prices are fine. Service friendly and efficient. There's a reason it's been here for over 20 years. Happy to recommend for a dinner date and for groups.

Excellent food and comparative prices. Very good choice of Italian dishes. Desserts were very tasty. Portion sizes were just right. Location of the Restaurant very handy to Perth Train Station, would defiantly recommend the Sorrento Restaurant.

Love, love, love this restaurant. From the moment you walk through the door you are made to feel welcome from the wonderful patrons working there. The food was delicious and plentiful. The arancini was melt in your and the mushroom risotto was perfect. This is mine and my husbands favourite Italian restaurant and would highly recommend.

Food was lovely and reasonably priced. Service was great but there was a very musty smell in the restaurant, so probably chairs or carpet needs a clean.

Fabulous menu and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend Sorrento Restaurant for great evening out in Perth City. We will be back!

Always like coming to this restaurant. Food is consistent. Love the Veal Marsala but this time I had the special fish dish, which I found a little bland - I left half of it, hence my lower rating this time. Will go back to the Marsala! My partner had the pork saltimbocca which he loved. Waiter David was exceptional as always and we will sorely miss him.

An impromptu visit tonight to Sorrento. As usual this place never fails to impress. Fantastic food, friendly service. We will be back to enjoy another feast.

Food are really good and good set of selections too. Place is really good for the occasion and the staff are very accommodating. Loved my visit and will returning again.

Big range on Menu . my friend enjoyed Pasta but I ordered Scallopini Marsala and the meat was poor quality laced with grissle.Nice house wine and coffee

Very good. Meal's served in a timely manner and at once. Attentive service by the waiter. Overall had a great meal and were looked after.

Customer service was great, the staff kept checking on me and my boyfriend to make sure we were okay and the food was amazing, will definitely be going back again!
