Sorrento Restaurant

Lovely staff, reasonably-sized portions and delicious food! Service was very fast. One of my favourite restaurants for sure.

We are regulars at this restaurant but usually come here on a Saturday night. This time it was a Friday, and our regular waitress was not on duty. She always looks after us so well - drinks and bread/butter plus pasta dish to share as entre come without us asking. She's a gem. So this time we twice had to ask to be served - wine and food (and there were hardly any people in the restaurant!), and alas our favourite entre was no longer on the menu - it's lovely, such a light and tasty pasta dish (alla Grecia, I think). Why has it been removed? The alternative option was OK but much heavier (creamy dish) and not nearly as tasty. Mains weren't as good as usual either. Fish slightly overdone and pork saltimbocca a bit more salty than usual. Is this a one-off? Hope so. We will obviously be back, but on a Saturday night!

Fantastic 30years ago and still fantastic now. Waiters and waitresses were fabulous and the food is amazing!

We were celebrating our 20th year since our first date which was at Sorrentos. When we arrived the staff were great and interested. We ordered Wine, Entree and Mains, then we felt like we were forgotten. 20-30 minutes past after we had finished our mains, we wanted to order dessert and coffee but ended up going to the reception and paying for our meal. Ended up at San Churros for dessert and Coffee. Besides that, it was a great experience and the food was magnificent.

Wait staff although very polite, never came back during the course of the evening to see if we had everything we needed, were charged for a glass of wine we never received (we were reimbursed for this). This was meant to be a carafe of wine which also never arrived. Possibly understaffed on the night.

We had a lovely leisurely lunch sitting by the open window we did request a table change as we were quite warm no problem. Waitress was great gave us loads of time to make choices. Shared a pizza for entree then each had entree sized meals. As usual fantastic food and service. Will definitely return

Delicious food, great table, atmosphere and friendly service. Unfortunatley we were greeted poorly upon arrival. The female staff member did not look at us and then just pointed to the table and said it over there. Maybe a bit too comfortable in the job. The food however was outstanding. Love, Love Love. We'll be back.

We love the food at Sorrento’s! We done often go out for Italian food as many restaurants disappoint but Sorrento is always on point. Service is great & staff are friendly. Creme brûlée is a must 😃👍

They are getting to know us at this restaurant, and it is great to see our wines and bread brought out to us straightaway as soon as we arrive, without having to ask! Great restaurant and we will always go back.

We went on Monday instead of Sunday and the service and the noise were very acceptable.

Food was good but the service level needs improvement and waiters need to help the owner more as it was a one woman show all night

Actually reminds me of a pathetic experience in Rome when visiting there. Staff are rude, service is rubbish and food far from something special!!
