Great pizza, lovely Italian setting. Could do with reducing air conditioning a bit, was freezing! When busy hard to grab waitress, could maybe put parmesan, chilli oil, and cracked black pepper in tables so you don't have to spend ages trying to catch their eye after they've brought food out.

They were very attentive and they knew what was going on. The food was delicious! The waitstaff were very helpful with food choice and very friendly.

Great visit again, although the meat in our Calzones wasn't quite as good this time. Still a terrific restaurant...

As the name suggests, it's simple Italian. Super fresh ingredients that won't leave you feeling unwell and a great atmosphere with an open kitchen woodfired pizza oven.

We had the Arancini balls for entrée - delicious. Dessert was Tiramisu and Crème Brulee - yum yum yum. A great place for dinner and good service too. Will definitely be coming back.

First day in Perth and selected this restaurant on other reviews.. Service was excellent, food was superb, prices very competitive. Great menu. Despite being extremely busy, restaurant ran like clockwork.

The food was not the best. The service and table staff was fantastic. Value for money was dissatisfied. Personal the flavour was not there. The chicken parmigiana was not moist and had very little topping. The veal scallopini was tough and hard to cut. The carbonara was not the best. Pizza was ok.

it was good, but service was slow...waited around to be given the dessert menu but no-one approached us so we just gave up and paid and left

I pass this restaurant by every morning and it's always busy. Great coffee and muffins, as well as delicious pizza. Very fast and friendly service.

It was fantastic! Elegant and homely and yet relaxed. The noise level was great too, you could actually have a conversation. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. Exactly what to look for, looking forward to returning.

High quality Italian food and nice atmosphere. A couple of tables outside which are nice when it’s hot. The four cheese pizza and the garlic bread are both awesome.

The pizzas are okay. The wine list is decent. A good place for friends and conversation. We really enjoyed the entrees. The smashed potatoes were fun. Recommend those. And the charcuterie.

Great atmosphere! Visited pre-show at The Arena - very convenient. Food was fantastic. Meat Lovers pizza was one of the best ever! Was packed with families but the service was still fast.

Went here for a quick dinner before a concert. Fabulous food and service. Pizzas are excellent, as are the pasta dishes and salads. My third time here and it has always been good.

Very good place! Good food. Lovely atmosphere. I really suggest to try the pizza but also the pasta look gorgeous. Don’t forget to try the Aperol Spritz

Nice atmosphere food was good we ordered a pizza, cannelonni and aranchini balls. Aranchini balls were a bit disappointing very bland and not much flavour. Everything else was nice though

Food was just like in Rome, friendly staff, great atmosphere and you feel right at home. Super meal followed by a great coffee, couldn't ask for more.

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Simple Italian. Wonderful authentic tasting pizza and pasta had! Business clients we took equally impressed with the food. Will be going there again!

Group of us ordered dinner, dishes came ad hot and worst was we’d ordered 2 lamb racks & only one came. We had to ask twice about the other one, got vague answers why it was late, it came about 25 minutes later! A friend asked to sample 2 rose wines and were told “you’re not hearing me” by a wait person after being told she can only try one & only if it were open, without checking if they were actually open,. Rude, when waitress said, ‘so which one would you like?

The food was nice, arancini balls a bit dry though not oozy enough, pizza was yummy, gnocchi really tasty, service was not that great....one male waiter was very friendly but the others who served us were disinterested. I like a bit more of an more engaged service. Sat us on a table right near the door which was not very nice but did ask to move.

We’ve had dinner here before and it was amazing. The food was quick but I would say the lamb roast rack was a bit tough and I don’t believe it was as it said on the menu. Service was fantastic though

Welcomed with a smile, led to our table and the service throughout the evening was excellent.. Our son is 12 and travels with us to Italy and has done so since he was little so he has picked up some Italian and I am learning Italian too and speak what I am learning at home and the staff are very helpful and enjoy you attempting to speak their language albeit basic at this point in time but it's nice to be able to practice in a "real" environent. The food is absolutely beautiful and very fresh and the menu is a mix of Italia and Sicillian and there is much to choose from. It is our new family favourite and even though it takes 1 hour on the train to get there, we are going to frequent this restaurant because it is excellent. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

LOVE the pizza, and the great service - always quick and friendly. Our go-to for a bite to eat and a few drinks before a Perth Wildcats game at Perth Arena.

The food was great, but we were put at the table with people who came to dinner before us, and it was not comfortable for us (5) and for them (2) as we sat at one table for 8. Otherwise I recommend the place and will come back

Cosy atmosphere, great food and excellent service. Staff were attentive, friendly and more than accommodating with requests. The restaurant itself is accessible via Murray St main street front but entering the establishment you feel like you are transported to somewhere much more beautiful and far away than the city of Perth. Would recommend to friends and would visit again without hesitation

Amazing Pizza! Had 10 of us share the metre long fusions with chef's recommendations. The bases cooked perfectly with the toppings fresh and fulfilling. Couldn't ask for anything more.
