I have visited Siena's more times than I can count and always had the most amazing experience paired with delicious food. One of my favourite places to dine out at... up until last night. I had the most appalling experience leaving quite an impact on my colleagues and myself. I booked on Mon 13th through Quandoo, a table for 5pm for Wednesday 15th Dec. On Tues 14th as soon as they opened at 5pm I called and asked if we could change our booking to 5:30pm. The lady on the phone assured us absolutely not a problem that is an easy fix. Was very polite and professional. Last night I arrived at 5:30pm on the dot and was seated at our table. My colleagues were running a little late and arrived at 5:45pm. We proceeded to order our drinks and asked for a few more minutes to decide on our food. An older gentlemen approaches us rather abruptly ( I now know he is part owner and his name is Anthony Palassis) He said just to let you know you only have the table until 6:30pm I said I changed the booking to 5:30pm so therefore we should have the table until 7pm. I am aware of the 1h 30 min table slot due to high volume of patrons at the Venue. He was very dismissive and arrogant. He was adamant we had to leave by 6:30pm and we did not have enough time to order food. He remarked we have 300 other patrons coming in tonight, not just you. I was blown away, how can someone speak to a paying customer this way? Absolutely disgusting. We were so upset with his unprovoked behaviour we decided to dine elsewhere. As I was leaving I asked for his name and he remarked 'I'm the Owner' with a smirk on his face. Unacceptable behaviour especially coming from upper management. We have been numerous other times and always had the pleasure of dealing with Andrew who is highly professional and has an upbeat demeaner. This will leave a lasting impact on my colleague's and myself. The poor treatment we received from Anthony is unacceptable
