Fantastic food, every dish delicious. Sat outside great setting. Service was a bit slow but staff apologetic and gave us free dessert. Def be back!

Great food and service. The bagel with egg, avocado and herbs was beautiful. Even the jam doughnut was great. Prices are very reasonable and if you can swing anb outdoor table, do so, as it makes for a pleasant atmosphere.

This cafe was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. The food is fresh and flavoursome. Staff are professional and the service is excellent-prompt, friendly and attentive. The menu provides an extensive range of foods for all culinary preferences and ages. The children were very well catered for on the menu. They had a great time in the kids play area. We will be visiting again! Thank you to Shuk for taking such great care of us.

Everyone loved their food, good iced coffee on hot day, enthusiastic service, well priced. Shared the Israeli breakfast. Garden area gods for children and pets.

Amazing food in a great setting. We had shakshuka and it was sooo good. Nice outdoor seating. The waiters were friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a great brunch!

SHUK IS A NO NONSENSE UN PRETENTIOUS BREEZY SUBURBAN RESTUARANT , GOOD SERVICE, TASTY TUCKER BUT ALAS COFFEE ( FOR ME) COULD ALWAYS BE HOTTER GREAT

Staff is always although not always very organised, but the food (and bread!) and the atmosphere are great. This is a great cafe in the neighbourhood.

The service was lovely. People pay attention are friendly. They engage with you which makes the experience all the better. And the food is superb. Highly recommended

we’re regulars great menu, nice creative israeli-fusion food but operation in the evening is terrible. waiter was v young bored and did not know the menu and didn’t drink wine. kitchen really slow and disorganised. wine overpriced! if shuk is going to do evenings someone has to crack the whip with enough adults as staff. oh and mains sold out by 7.30, give me a break. needs a rethink. suggest much less choice: 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 desserts and lower prices.

Great ambience and friendly staff but very disorganised service. We were brought the same drink order 3 times and never received our sides . They kindly did not charge for our desserts but I don't think we will be back. The food was good but not great.

Great food and wine but very busy. Sometimes hard to hear conversation. If the weather is warm - it is probably nicer to sit outside

Always always delicious food and friendly staff. Shuk is a regular favourite cafe of mine for either breakfast or lunch. Plus not forgetting the melt in the mouth pastries and cakes.

Delicious meals with a twist on the classics we know and love. The staff were friendly and efficient within a cool space with a great vibe.

Excellent service, and food was fresh and good, great buzz, I highly recommend the Shuk, family oriented and kids menus. A must to do any day of the week.

Great location, remote from the buzz and noise of Campbell parade, super kind and organised staff, and heartwarming food. Sun-drenched terrasse and courtyard to keep you warm in winter. Kids friendly (change room included). Not for those in a rush. This is your village-vibe-type of place. Perfect for a lazy sunday brunch!

Great food and good service. The food here is excellent - we shared all the plates and nothing was a disappointment. My favourite was the chicken and dips.

Service was terrible. We had to ask for drinks several times from staff who were standing around stamping coffee cups. Good was delivered by staff that did not know what was being served. Food was so good but experience was let down by the service

Vegan night set menu was awesome, every one of the courses was lovely and abundant. Service was friendly and time Ng very good. Highly recommended!

Incredible food, friendly service, and a great vibe. It took a while for our food to come out but they were super busy so it's definitely forgivable.

The food was great. The potato dumplings and the dips at the start were particular standouts. The service was friendly and there was never too long of a wait between courses. Definitely would recommend it.

Great food but way too busy and crowded so the service was very slow and somewhat stressful. Also you pay a lot for the drink and portion sizes.

Service. Welcome. Attitude all excellent. Yes it's a keeper. Hullumi starter was superb. Not enough salad with it. Beef Cheek, Chicken, Eggplant dish were all great mains. 👏👏👏👏

Food fantastic as was service. Only issue is the alcohol law about taking our left over bottle of wine from the premises. Beef cheeks superb!

Worth the trip out there! shakshuka was delicious and great coffee and service too! So many delicious things to choose from. We will be back for sure. Just make sure to book!

Great Food. friendly staff.Went sunday brunch place was packed, loot people waiting without reservations .Despite how busy it was service was fast. Coffee was good. Had The Cured dish very tastly.

Great food, very efficient service and lovely relaxed atmosphere. I've only been for brunch before and this was the first time ive had dinner at Shuk but loved it. We will be back again soon!

Went here with friends- easy to book. Got a table outside in the sun which was lovely. Absolutely loved the octopus and falafel entrees. The mains we ordered were the beef cheeks and pumpkin salad. Both were fine. It nothing spectacular- the slaw was too gluggy, needed a lighter tangy dressing. The dessert was a major disappointment- lemon meringue with pineapple and coconut icecream but all you could taste was pineapple, it was basically a scoop of ice cream and pea size meringues. Service was really attentive, nice relaxed place. Note labne seems to make its way into majority of their meals.

Shuk is one of our favourite brunch places. Friendly service, you can book a table. Child and dog friendly. And most important- gorgeous food. Our factories are the Humus with grilled mushrooms, shakshuka with chorizo and anything with the gorgeous lamb.

The food was amazing. Our starter came out then only few minutes later our entrees came out (that we were sharing as mains) so by the time we got to eat our entrees they were cold. Therefore service & communication between front & back of house needs a little work.

Outstanding service from everyone at Shuk. Great atmosphere. Food is sensational. There is a kids playground out the back with seating under cover, which is a bit more manageable than inside if you have kids. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

The place is nice and the food is really good. I went there a few times and I have never been disappointed. I especially like the Zucchini & leek fritters and the Shakshuka.

SHUK is a great neighbourhood cafe serving excellent coffee , middle eastern inspired food and a small wine list. The service was a little rudimentary and the music a bit loud but overlooking this three of us had a most enjoyable lunch.
