We had great attentive service. The food was delicious with a great variety from which to choose. The starters arrived quickly and although our mains were a little slower, they were worth the wait. Fantastic naan bread
We have eaten at Shikara's several times over the years, it always has a nice vibe, the service is excellent and the food has always been superb and plentiful.
Food was good apart from the pappadoms they was very stale the portion sizes are quite small for the prices and the length of time they took to bring out our main was about a hour but overall it was a nice meal
Absolutely disgraceful. Waited over 1 1/2 hrs for main meal. Prawn korma woeful - bland and in a watery sauce - prawns imported not local. Rice and naan bread very average. We were compensated with 2 free drinks however when we went to pay the bill we were not happy to pay for the mains as they were so poor. The manager told my partner to f*** off. As a customer i dont expect to be treated like this -its disgraceful. Dont bother with this place - you will be extremely disappointed.
Fantastic Indian restaurant located at mindarie foreshore , food is absolutely delicious and the service is top notch . We will keep coming back for sure
The best Indian restaurant NOR amazing food and service, highly recommend this place. Has taken us 12 years to find a decent Indian restaurant but was worth the wait
Great location overlooking the marina and food was of a very high quality. Good range of choices on menu. Staff friendly. BYO wine a bonus!
Best Indian ever Delicious Curry’s and friendly Staff Madras is amazing ❤️ And the garlic naan 😋👍🏻 My husband and I dine there every week some times twice
Went at 6:30 on a Friday. Only three other parties. Beautiful view out the front of the restaurant. Large portions. Waitresses were a little nonchalant. Lovely ambient flute music playing. Restaurant war tucked away on the boardwalk. Took us some time to find it at first.
Food was amazing. Service was quick and waitress polite and helpful. Returning customers and will continue to come back. Best Indian restaurant in the northern suburbs!
Six people crammed onto table meant for four, two people crammed up against a concrete post, not enough room for food, drinks etc, had to keep moving things around so everyone could reach shared food. Slow to take food order, waitress (blonde hair) appeared disinterested in us, when trying to order another glass of wine, was expected to chose without a menu and had to ask for one. Food order wrong when it came, $31 for bottle of wine which was only 6.5% and was not nice at all. This was meant to be our last meal with our friends visiting from UK, as this is usually our fave place to eat as the food is good, but will not be going back in a hurry
Ate there Saturday night table of four, found Good food, good service, good price. Happy faces all round, will eat there again, now summers on it’s way
