Sedap Place restaurant

I had wantan curry soup for dinner. they use the same curry for the roti canai fish. any malaysia n should knw the differences between those two curry. the wantan curry soup was too thick and i couldnt even swallow 1/2. it was suppose to be runny, coconutty and less curry in it. the worse ever.

A great little restaurant and the food and staff are excellent. The menu is extensive and the staff were keen to explain and assist us. Meals came out quickly. Great value for money. Would definitely return here with family and friends.

Great food! Great service! Ordered the Roti Canai and the Nasi Lemak. Real authentic and decent size servings. Highly recommended and it’s reasonably priced as well.

Came for dinner on a Sunday night. The food was generous in portion and authentic. The beef rendang, nasi lemak and the sides, and the accompaniments to the roti canai (i.e, the dhal and fish curry) were delicious! Service was good too. Will be back.

Sedap Place had simple yet authentic and flavourful Malaysian food. The service was prompt and friendly. Their prices are very reasonable, particularly for the daily specials.

Restaurant was well presented, tables etc clean, staff courteous and helpful, food was well presented and quite delicious and as someone once famously said " I SHALL RETURN ! ".

Nice place. We ordered the Nasi Lemak ayam goreng, roti canai, mee goreng mamak and teh ice. Mee goreng mamak is quite spicy even though I asked for less spicy but love the rest!

Authentic Malaysia cuisine. Love the mamak goreng and teh ice. Nice food and drinks. Sometimes could be a bit busy and rush but otherwise good. Would return again!

The food was very tasty, really well priced but came out a little too fast with our entree combined with the mains. Service was friendly but maybe needs a little tweaking. Overall it’s goid value for money and I would go back plus recommend others to try.

Delicious food, but service was a little hit and miss. I was also a bit disappointed that although I had booked a long way in advance for a table of eight, we were given the spot right by the door, which was very cold.

Food was excellent. Service can be improved with experienced wait persons. Meal came to $50.03 and the wait person wanted the 3 cents. I gave her 5c and she told me she doesn't have 2c change.

Great service and yummy food! Kids enjoyed their roti and curry, while my husband and I had the big nasi lemak, and curry mee! Had a really great time there. 😊

Service was excellent; Food was served very quick and the food was beautiful. Andrew was fantastic and explained some of the dishes and was very polite, always smiling and willing. We especially loved trying the roti tissue which was delicious. Definitely will be back.

Food and drinks were quite good. Ordered the Nasi Lemak 2 'Sedap' 2 Share among 3 people and it was quite filling but some more rice would have been nice to help balance out the spicy sides. That's why it was good to have the Teh (tea) drinks and Ice Kachang for dessert to cool ourselves down from all the hot spices in the main.

Food was amazing as was the value for money. Great atmosphere and service. Had one of the share plates. Was in heaven. Will visit again for sure!

Well organised and good food - value for money. The mee goreng mamak is on the wettish and sweetish side. The sago gula maleka is excellent.

One of the go to places for somewhat decent Malaysian cuisine in Perth. Booking via Quandoo is great as it avoids the need to line up for a table as this restaurant can be busy at times.

The service on this visit did not seem as prompt although the restaurant seemed less busy compared to past visits. Roti Telur was not as good as previous occasion as well. Have tasted better Nasi Goreng Kampung at other Malaysian restaurants in Perth.

The Sedap Place Lunch Special offers great value as the portion of the main dish is sufficient to be shared between 2 persons and you can opt for main with drink and dessert or main with drink. Must try special dessert during the Ramadhan period - Roti Banana

Fun and busy atmosphere with very friendly staff. Dishes were large and good value for money. Food was nice, but not the best Malaysian food I have had - 6/10 for food; 7.5/10 for overall experience

Tried the sedap chicken rice, have Asian taste. Will try the other dishes again next time. Hope to see more new menu that are of Asian taste.
