Overall, a well presented and good focused menu. The dishes we had were well prepared and delicious. We will definitely be back again for another round.
Nasi lemak was OK, fried chicken was not good, cold, and didn't look anything like the picture in the menu. The curry chicken was better. Used cheap imported prawns in the har mee, will no be going back.
I had the laksa volcano but it is a bit plain and expensive. My friends had their mamak mee goreng, fried kuey tiaw and beef rendang and they said it's nice
Highly recommended for those who is keen on trying authentic Malaysian food! Delicious, yummy and delicate! Reasonable price and cosy atmosphere! Book before you go!
Great food, great service and atmosphere. Reasonably priced. The rotis are excellent. Recommend! Definitely make a booking as it does get very busy! I'll be going back for sure.
Wrong order was taken for the drinks but the staff rectified it immediately. Overall experience was ok. Range of food is ok but always sold out.
Service very slow & poor waited for ages for entre, main meals came out slow, manager had to check on our order, food very average
Authentic Malaysian food that is prepared and served by authentic Malaysians. Love the food here - try any of the noodle soups if the weather is a bit colder. If not, try everything else!
i have to say this is the best restaurant in Perth by far that comes closest to the taste back home in Malaysia. Truly authentic! This will be my new place to have any fix for Malaysian cuisine. The only improvement is that it might be a bit of a wait for food (maybe them being new which can be resolved if they get more staff in). But trust me, the wait is worth it!
Went there and had Nasi Lemak beef rendang and char kuey teow. I can say that's as close as it can get to the penang ckt in Perth and the beef rendang is out of this world !! Also the teh tarik was so 'kau' and full of umphhh ... definitely my regular makan place from now on
Good food and service. Would come back again to try out the other foods on the menu. Great for a quick lunch or get together with friends
Our second time back within the week to try other dishes. The prawn mee soup was delicious, the broth was tasty & portions generous. The curry laksa was good too except that they didn't have cockles.
Modern set up for Malaysian hawker food. The food came out quickly. The nasi lemak was a great shared dish. The teh tarik is delicious.
Over priced menu. The har mee prawn noodles had 3 slices fish cake, 4 small prawns and a boiled egg for $13.90. Likewise with curry mee and maggi goreng. We were in and out within 30 mins, a very unsatisfactory dinner. Paid $14.90 for steamed chicken with curry mee, it was just an over boiled, very dry drumstick that was cut into half placed on top the noodles.
Good food and quite busy... Best to book before going. Some of the items in the menu are not available yet so best to ask in doubt.
Excellent - great ambience and even better food. Would have given 6 but waitress forgot to bring water to the table. A bit cramped but otherwise near perfect. Best Malaysian food in Perth. Hope they will open a branch soon. Also hope they will start satay as well. Need to put menu prices on website
Restaurant staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience is beautiful and food was amazing! We will definitely be back to try all the other dishes!
The shared nasi lemak platter with it's accompanied curries were great. Roti Canai was nicely charred but lacking in fluffiness. Reasonable pricing and great service made it a satisfying experience overall.
its all good. love the friendliness and atmosphere of the service. quick food service and i admire the hospitality of the crew. food was unique and moderate pricing
Love the place! Haven't been to a restaurant in the area this clean and cozy and warm. The food is nice too, served in very clean plates.
Great food, great prices! Busy night but we received our food quickly. Staff were polite, but it was busy so it took a little while to get their attention. Highly recommend!
The Malaysian cuisine was awesome. The egg & onion roti canai, traditional curry laksa, nasi lemak with beef rendang and hot Cham were very authentic and very nice.
Food was quick and delicious. Disappointing without sea cockles available but it was replaced with more prawns. Not suitable for 5 pple as they put a stool at the end of the table so it was not comfortable.
Having the Nasi Lemak Burger even if it was for a very short and limited period was a good move! Went with two friends hence got to try both versions of the burger - with chicken rendang & fried chicken. Both were equally good though I preferred the fried chicken of course.
Called the helpline cos I got an error message trying to initially book online and they provided great service and were super helpful. Would use again !
The 3 layers tea is quite sweet (wouldnt order it again) but the food is good and big portion. Service is good, we booked table in advance.
Staff were excellent with their service but when I booked online, it didn't seemed to matter anyway because they were busy as. Food was great.
Fantastic service, friendly staff and delicious food! We were seated at our table the moment we got there, orders taken and didn't have to wait long for food to arrive.
Roti Telur was so good and so was the char kway teow. Also try the Kopi C - rich and frothy. A very authentic Malaysian flavour.
Best Nasi Lemak and Ipoh Hor Fun in town, will definitely go back for more
Great little restaurant serving fantastic, tasty food with a smile. BYO wine which is always a winner and the prices are great. We will definitely be back!
This was our first visit and we will certainly be back. I can highly recommend the laksa and roti bread. The restaurant was bursting at the seams at lunchtime. Great experience.
Best authentic Malaysian nasi lemak in Perth, hands down! Great ambience, not too expensive (compared to NLK). Many Malaysians agree the same. I will not be going to any other nasi lemak shop from now on :)
Ordered the mamak fried chicken, volcano laksa and both are good. The taste of the laksa is intense and flavoursome. The mamak fried chicken is tasteful too. Overall is good.
delicious, authentic malaysian food full of flavour. prices and portion size were reasonable. i will definitely be back to try more dishes from the menu.
Food was nice. Teh tarik was abit too sweet and thick. If added with a bit of water it'll taste better but overall it was good.
We tried the nasi lemak with fried chicken, roti canai, and meehoon goreng, and sambal squid it was delicious. And not forgetting the KL Tower (teh tarik).
Great Malaysian selection and the service was impeccable. Me and my friends ordered the Chow Kuey Teow, Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang and Ipoh Ho Fund with Prawn Wanton. It was Excellent! Finished my meal with a "Teh Si" (Malaysian style Tea with evaporated milk ) without sugar
Good service however the food is only OK. It's good to give it a go, as the atmosphere is awesome. Good for big groups so you can try most of the food!
Staff are very efficient friendly and helpful, food is fresh spicy and delicious, the specials menu has a great prawn dish and you cant go past the Roti and noodle dishes. looking forward to my next visit
The food was tasty and delicious and the service was efficient. Overall a very pleasant and feel good dinner with friends. Will recommend it to anyone craving some southeast Asian food
Pleasant wait staff and good food. The service was fast. The only discomfort I felt was the overall ambience rather dark and gloomy. The kuey teow soup is highly recommended.
A little too salty and the hot teh tarik came not so hot. But overall was nice. Not the best. Young restaurant much better improvement in the future I hope
Decor is modern and sleek, service was amazing and very friendly. the food was delicious and very similar to Malaysian standards however the price may be a bit higher than average for a meal. overall very satisfied and will be returning soon to eat again.
Roti and fish curry sauce were lovely, the dhalcha not so much. The beef rendang was also pretty good, nice, thick, rich gravy... beef could have been cooked a little more to make it fall aparta bit more. My brother said his his nasi lemak was just ok. Service was fairly efficient and friendly. Overall would go back to try other dishes
We dined on Friday night, my second time at this place. The food was very nice and appreciate that the restaurant was busy but was disappointed that wait staff was clearing our table as soon as we finished eating. The feeling of being rush to vacate the table.
Service was good - friendly and fast. The shop is small and crowded though relatively well laid out. However, food wise - something seems to be lacking. Roti canai served with a rather 'sweet' dhall curry and oily red curry sauce. The laksa as palatable but mild and lack flavour. The ipoh hor fun was plain. The mamak noodles was probably the best of the 4 items we ordered.
Great service, volcanic laksa could of been spicier, ask for extra chilli if you like hot. Wonton soup a little bland could do with some extra flavour. Beef rendang, dish of the day, worth going back for!
Have been here many times. Great authentic food with lovely atmosphere and excellent service!
The food is not very special as expected and the price is reasonable. They're better Malaysia and Singapore cuisine in Perth. But the service is very good and the serving of food is very fast. The staff are nice and friendly.
