Loved the beef rendang, super spicy and the side dishes were excellent. Great food and great service, definitely a restaurant to try out and come back to 😃

Great selection of Malaysian dishes including mee goreng mamak and roti. The three layered tea is strong, highly recommend trying it. Overall, it’s a great place for a casual dinner.

I have tried many Malay restaurants in Perth, and found this place to have the most authentic tasting food. Service was also very friendly and efficient.

Tasty food. Decent service. Roti canai, teh tarik and kuey teow was good. Missed shellfish in kuey teow. Wonton mee has no wontons. Sauce wasn't quite authentic but the dish was still very enjoyable. Laksa was very milky not quite authentic but again, good flavours.

Service was excellent. Authentic Malaysian dishes and flavours. The crispy chicken skin was however too salty for us and the mee goreng was too sweet. The Nasi Lemak was well presented and accompanied by delicious curries and sauces. Worth a return visit.

Had a good experience. Very nice teh tarik. Good roti canai and nasi lemak. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Good ambient inside the restaurant.

Food was fantastic,we didn't wait long for food to arrive,staff's was very friendly, service was excellent.We enjoyed the night. Will recommend this place to anyone who loves Nasi Lemak and other staff in the menu.

The mee goreng is really salty, had to ask the waitress to bring it back to the kitchen and cook new one, new one came out still salty. Went to this restaurant a few times and had good experiences with the previous visits, however we didnt enjoy the main food this time. Ordered the durian dessert and it was nice, but not the mee goreng

It was pleasant experience overall. We had a lovely meal that evening. The food we ordered was delicious. The staff were also friendly and helpful.

It's the second time dining at Sedap with friends. The quality of the food and service is very good and maintained. Prices are reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Excellent Malaysian food! This place has the best nasi lemak and roti canai in town. I have been there twice in a week now, and that’s how good it is.

My friend and l ordered 'teh tarik' for the first time and we're both extremely impressed with it. It was super amazing, tea made to perfection. Will definitely try to arrange for a larger group next time, so that we can get our hands on the 'KL Tower Special'. Can't wait for my next visit!

Staff are so pleasant and food is delicious! It was busy but not noisy that we couldn’t hear our conversation. Will be back again very soon!

The food was delicious and great value however the service was poor. We sat for at least 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order and the restaurant wasn’t full.

Was looking forward to a hot, ipoh soup on a rainy evening but was told no soup dishes available that day. Changed to a Char Koay Teow - tasty but portion very small, size seems to shrink more & more each time we visit. Though tasty, I spent the whole night waking up to extreme thirst - my body’s reaction to msg. A smile from waitress taking order would have been nice - still the same grumpy face from last visit, must really hate her job. Won’t be back anytime soon as the local favourite standards are dropping.

This was our second visit in as many weeks for our family of four. The food on both occasions was delicious but I do find that the service is lacking considerably. It is difficult to get eye contact with any of the waiters/waitresses to take our order, top up our water, etc. On this visit, our beef rendang came out and proceeded to go cold while we waited for our roti to be delivered to the table (we could see it at the servery but no-one brought it over). Needless to say it was also cold by the time it reached us and somewhat soggy. We managed to eventually raise a waitress to get it reheated...meanwhile the beef rendang continued to lose heat. We will return as the food is generally amazing and great value; fingers crossed the service improves (perhaps an extra set of hands would help).

Great food as always but i think it's time to move to a larger premise. Always end up sitting way too close to other guests, almost as if we're dining together. Quite awkward.

Food was delicious but it was quite hard to flag down waitstaff and we didn’t get one of the dishes we ordered, which did appear on the receipt.

Restaurant was not as busy on this occasion. Service good as usual. The price of the Roti Canai is reasonable compared to other Malaysian restaurants in Perth.

Disappointed the last two visits as the laksa was cold. Informed the staff both times, nothing was done about it either time. Not a happy customer.

Good food and a great atmosphere. We had 5 people but the table was a little small. However, not much can be done as it was busy... otherwise brilliant.

The services was very fast even though there were quite a few customers. As soon as we ordered, the food came out within 15 minutes. Great food and fantastic curries. Love the nasi lemak.

Delicious food. I had the Mee Goreng and it was cooked to perfection! And not oily which I think is a bonus for Malaysian food. Food and drinks came out quixkly. Service was generally good except the front of house who was quite rude and didn’t appear like she wanted to be there.

One of the best Malaysian food in Perth!!! Am glad I don't have to go back to KL for a decent Nasi Lemak or Laksa :)

Quick and tasty meal. A lively café that serves meals that take the fancy of many patrons both Asian and non-Asian. Well worth a visit.

Great Laksa def worth a trip down gets a bit warm on hot days though. Busy on the weekends be sure to book to avoid hassles.

Food was good. However, your menu has not changed since you guys started. It's still the same mee goreng, nasi lemak or curry laksa or chicken curry ....

Nice foods, great service, we like the authentic laksa and meegoreng. Our table is a bit dark not enough lighting. But overall its a great place for authentic Malaysian foods.

Table of 8 people. Had roti canai, nasi lemak, laksa, mee goreng, fried chicken skin, wonton noodles, gula melaka. Most dishes reasonably authentic. Service was efficient, polite and friendly.

The food is alright and the service is very good. I ordered the roti canai mamak and I found the food ok as I have had better roti canai elsewhere. I ordered the iced Milo and that was nice. I might go back there one day.
