Satchmo Cafe

I had food envy for my husband's fried chicken bagel. The matzo ball soup was a bit bland. It was ok but not amazing. If I went back, I would order the fried chicken.

First visit. Found inside stuffy and had strong cooking smells so we sat outside which was not great as we were sitting near cars parking or exhaust Would not return in a hurry

The atmosphere and music was delightful and the food was delicious. Lots of mouth-watering items on the menu made it hard to choose - planning to go back and sample more dishes. The service was prompt, friendly and staff were attentive but unobtrusive.

Great atmosphere, staff went out of their way to make your visit enjoyable and the food was out of this world, interesting menu. Will definitely return soon for another yummy meal.

Didn't realise orders taken at counter sat for 20 mins before we figures that out. Nice staff. Bagels and cakes could have been fresher. Bit disappointed

Quirky New York Jewish and Louisiana cajun specialities all with an Aussie twist makes this a unique brunch experience! Matzoh ball soup almost as good as grandma's and the best corned beef bagel in town have got me hooked!

The food here is always amazing ! Drive up from mandurah just for the fried chicken Mississippi bagel ! Staff are friendly and happy to accomodate menu change for dietary needs or fussy kids

absolutely enjoyed the foods they never fail to deliver each time and we have been trying out all different dishes each time we dropped by. my only gripe is the place is too noisy n not pram friendly

The cuisine is to the highest standard, and the service is warm, welcoming and accommodating. The atmosphere of happy, delighted customers all around is infectious. The space is beautiful and uncomplicated. I recently invited friends and family on a few recent occasions and the response is the same. This place is warm, friendly, delicious and unfussy.

Sunday morning 8:30am. The crepes were very tasty, though a bit disappointed in the omelette. Good coffee, though we like to go out for breakfast on a Sunday morning and read the paper which wasn't available though I did see two musicians setting up as we left, this would have been enjoyable.

What a gem of a place! The cornbread is a winner. Great food options with friendly service and lovely jazz music in the background. Cant wait to go back again as I watched some of the other dishes being delivered. Thanks for a delicious lunch and your smiley service Satchmo Cafe :)

Excellent service, imaginative food, fantastic coffee. Excellent Saturday Brunch venue. Easy to find with excellent parking. Cosy decor and a buzz and sense of dedication to the customers' experience.

Cheap, tasty US-style food in a convenient location. Great coffee and very reasonably priced. Aside from a dirty table cover we had nothing to complain about. Will definitely be going back.

Cafe didn’t get booking. Not much GF - eggs and toast no bacon or salmon may have been because wasn’t GF. The food was very nice, tea was good.

Satchmo is wonderful. Great food and coffee, of course, but even more intangible is the atmosphere. I love it here, and breakfast at Satchmo is part of our weekend routine.

Delicious, great environment and ambience. Cocktails looked fabulous. Great range of traditional American dishes from gumbo to kniches and bagels. Cheese cake was as good as the best New York City diner.

My family and I come here regularly. A great place to enjoy your meal and coffee with good music playing in the background. The staff are lovely too.

The food is interesting and delicious. The menu reminded us all of the USA. It was pleasant though noisy inside. We all enjoyed the cafe very much.

Friendly reception, good atmosphere and excellent food and coffee. I had the field mushroom omelette, very generous portion and very tasty. Coffee good enough for a second cup, we’ll be back!

I love every aspect of Sachmo Cafe each time I dine there. I invited a group of five for my son, Abraham's 21st birthday on Sunday, 11 March 2018 for brunch. The service and food was impeccable. They had run out of Champagne and promptly ordered in more so we could partake. An excellent couple of hours. I enjoyed my leftover gumbo for lunch the next day. Thank you very gratefully to all the staff.

Bagels bagels bagels! I've tried very hard to order other things from the menu but failed each time as their bagel sandwiches are just to die for!!! However, my partner did manage to check out other items like The Blintzes, Mississippi Special, etc they are all top-notch! Definitely one of the best cafes in town that delivers good quality foods

Great atmosphere with more than enough helpings on your plate! It was very crowded when we went which made it a little noisy. Would definitely recommend a visit.
