Santoni Pizza Bar

The service at Santoni was great. Seamless process from the online booking, a phone call to confirm and through to arriving on the rooftop in the middle if a gorgeous sunny afternoon. Our waiters were attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

Great food and great service. The staff were also very good about catering to allergies and recommended food that would suit. Would happily go back here again.

One of the nicest pasta's I have had in a long time. Highly recommend the parpardelle. The pizza's are excellent and most enjoyable on the rooftop.

The staff at Santoni were very friendly and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend the popcorn chicken! For 2 of us (sharing a main and entree with 4 drinks) it was under $100 so very reasonably priced.

The restaurant is relatively cramped, especially if it is packed which happens to be most of the time. Food only warm when received, but overall was above average.

Great food and service. A little noisey! Excellent place to catch up with friends before going to Hawthorn Arts Centre for a Fringe Festival show.

Cannot fault this place. Im not a huge pizza fan but my partner really wanted to try- turns out i now LOVE pizza. Do yourself a favor and try the cream base mushroom pizza!!!! New fave local!

Really yummy pizza! Good price as well, not too expensive. The lemon, lime and bitters was really nice and it came in a good size glass. The popcorn chicken was amazing! I could eat 10 bowls of it. The nutella pizza was to die for!

We are lucky to have booked on a Sunday night. The place was full. We fond a welcoming and efficient staff, delicious food, pleasing decor. All good.

Great food and good service. Only downside we were 4 adults squashed around 1 small table, where other groups of 4 had much more space being sat around 2 tables.

Upstairs has more ambience than street level. Delicious pizzas with thin base. Pea and asparagus salad goes well with them. Nutella pizza is rich and yum!

Santoni is a cheery, non-pretentious, high quality restaurant where the atmosphere is happy, the service fast and efficient and the price very affordable. It's the place you go when you want something that resembles a home cooked meal - without the hassle of making it yourself. It's always a fun place to visit, especially with family.

Because we were On The roof, it was rather cold and we had to ask several times for a heater. The service and food was good.

Best pizza's easily made vegan. Order the olive bread - it's not visible on the menu but it's delicious. We get it every time we come here!

For this venue it would be good to be able to specify rooftop or level 2. I wanted to book rooftop but we got moved.

Santoni was easy to book and the meals were fresh and delicious. The staff provided excellent service and there is a quirky fun atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean. A little cold but quite nice. Would have preferred a bet seat location, the restaurant wasn't ever full. We booked and got there a lot earlier than most, and stayed longer. mostly it was really nice. James Brayshaw - from the footy show ate not far away from us.

The service was not ideal, we were sitting at our table for 30 minutes before being served water and taken drinks orders (even after three people from the table had gotten up to ask the wait staff to serve us). It must be disappointing for the chefs downstairs as the food is delicious - and comes very quickly once our orders were in (only took about 15 minutes for all 11 people to receive their meal after finally ordering). Great service by the manager downstairs, just need a few more waiters working to deal with the service issues upstairs.

Great tasting pizza and a nice relaxed vibe, unfortunately the it was a cold night and the heater near us didn't work but the staff were quick to offer blankets as a back up. Would definitely recommend Santoni to a friend

Nice pasta and pizza. Liked the setting. Staff friendly and efficient. Bit of a wait for plates taken away and dessert menus But overall would return.

Once again the food was lovely. 4 great Pizzas. Asked for the bill (to sort out at the table with work colleagues) but it never came.

Best pizza! and best staff. Really enjoy the rooftop dining experience. It was freezing at but the staff faced the heating directly on us and in no time we were warm and comfortable.

First of all, the staff were all friendly and nice. Second of all, their food are absolutely delicious! Brought my friends along for lunch, and they love the food realy much. Will definitely go back to this restaurant!

Pizzas were very good. Service maybe had an off day as came across sour and unwelcoming. The restaurant was very noisy, but we were lucky with a window table and some privacy. Not going back anytime soon despite pizzas being excellent.

I've been here many times and their food is always good and delicious! Great pizza and pasta!

We arrived early and were told to wait upstairs at the rooftop bar while our table was cleared. 20 minutes later no one had come and grabbed us, so I followed it up with the barman to be told our table had been taken by someone else. They found another table for us on the 2nd floor, we didn't receive any menus for 15 minutes and after repeatedly asking for water (and being told they were waiting for glasses) I just gave up. The food came out quickly once we were able to order and it was amazing. Was planning to stick around for dessert but after failing to receive any attention from the staff we just paid and left. Clearly understaffed for a Saturday night and their fancy seating software is clearly failing as well. Would come back for the food, but not on a sat or Friday night.

We had the most lovely waitress. The whole experience was fabulous. Host on entering was also very professional and online booking was very convenient. The pizzas were superb! Will definitely go back soon.

Pumpkin gnocchi and pinot grigio delicious! Great views from Middle level, spacious and comfortable seating. Excellent for a nut allergy - plenty of food options.

Great food, drinks and plenty of staff that actually care. Really enjoyed my meal here, even with the world's grouchiest and fussiest parents in tow.

The pizza's here are sensational! My girlfriends and I ordered one each, a wine, and some chips to share. We were also lucky to get the window seat! I've been to Santoni a few time and will definitely be back!

Excellent service and food. I always enjoy my dining experience at Santoni. Great authentic italian food, their tiramisu is probably one of the best I have tasted.

The service was prompt and the food was delicious. It is a little noisy. But we had a great view of glenferrie road. Not too pricey either.
