EXCELLENT food!! The crabmeat tortellini was amazing and the service was quite good as well. We also had the scallop risotto and fish and chips which were also delicious.

Very busy and noisy on Saturday night. Seating at the window or walls is not as noisy. The food is excellent and the menu varied. Service was good. For sweets, we were not given the menu back so when we were asked if we wanted some we felt it was not encouraged.

Fantastic food and atmosphere !!!! Perfect location in my neighbourhood to catch up with friends and family. The staff are so courteous and efficient. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone !!!!

Lovely ambience, great food with good menu. Pleasant surprise to find such a nice restaurant in Cheltenham. The only negative was $10 corkage per bottle of wine.

The service was excellent, very attentive yet unobtrusive. Ambience good, From our group of four, there was only one meal in the eleven serves that we had that was slightly disappointing.Felt that the corkage charge of $20 per bottle BYO wine and a credit card surcharge on payments were a bit much but other than that the food was good value for money.

The food was lovely. Service was v.good. Conveniently close to the station if you don't want to drive. A little noisy but, there was a roudy table of 8 men near us so, couldn't blame the restaurant. Would go again.

As someone who is studying hospitality I can tell you the restaurant is nice however their communication between the kitchen and the front of house needs some work. The food was delicious as was the atmosphere and setting- the one downside was they brought out our mains before we had completely finished our appetisers. They have a take-home service which was fortunate since we couldn't finish our mains. The waiters and waitresses were lovely however they need to work on their communication too- we were brought the wrong bill and upon this the waitress immediately went to justify it by blaming another waiter. I recommend for the food!!!

Great food and service - across all 3 courses. Felt a little rushed though, being the first in on a Saturday night, had waiter ask us too frequently what we wanted, hence we had 3 courses and were out within 1 1/4 hours which was a bit quick/ not relaxing.

Our party of 5 had 3 first time diners, we will all be returning. The food and service is excellent. Pasta cooked perfectly, delicious panacotta.

Lovely atmosphere and enjoyable surroundings, and the staff were very friendly and responsive. However, the food needed a bit more flavour and character and it would have been perfect.

I can’t believe I’ve lived in Cheltenham for five years and haven’t been before. It definitely won’t be five years before I go again. A real gem and such a surprise when we slid open the inauspicious front door. The food too didn’t disappoint. ​

The staff are highly skilled and friendly. The food is great and we like it better than anywhere. We love the calamari, the cauliflower lightly battered with Gorgonzola sauce and of course the wonderfull rissotos

Service very good, food always reliable. Bit noisy, but nice atmosphere! Staff never rush customers was busy on a Tuesday night. Recommend to anyone looking for good food and nice night out!

Restaurant was packed when we arrived and I thought we would be in for a slow service night. Water on table immediately and order for drinks was delivered promptly. First courses of warm calamatta olives and chicken pate were excellent followed by risotto pescatore and pappadelle ragu which we’re also a high standard. Couldn’t fault the food and the waitresses kept everything moving.

Disappointed two of the specials were not available on the night mussels and profiteroles What was left that we chose was good but not spectacular

Fabulous food, mussels were sensational. Had the pate as an appetiser, delicious. Great ambience with lovely lighting and quality linen. Staff friendly and helpful. Wine list includes Italian options well worth investing in the Barolo, superb drop. Thank you Saltimbocca, you were a gem!!!

Excellent service and ambience. Authentic italian food at a reasonable price. The spaghetti marinara was amazing and one of the best I've had. We will definitely be eating there again very soon.

Pasta was cooked to perfection and ambiance was really nice. Service was friendly but not too over the top. Only negative was partner wasn't a fan of the wine which was quite expensive

The most wonderful Italian food either of us have ever eaten. Lovely service and atmosphere. And the specials are of what’s in season, not just what is trying to be used up so there can always be a nice surprise.

The food was delicious and the service doting, without being intrusive. We have dined here before and the quality of service has been consistently very good. Have recommended to friends and they have also enjoyed the experience.

The service is outstanding and the food is traditional Italian. Wine prices are very reasonable and they have a range of Italian wines that match the food. One of our favorite restaurants.

Excellent service. Great ambience. Romantic and adult . The food was authentic, absolutely delicious and moderately priced. The wine list, though not extensive, combined Italian and Australian to suit most. I highly recommend this venue for and adult dinner.

Fantastic food. Good service. Sometimes I go back to a restaurant and order a dish I particularly like and usually I'm a little disappointed. I've been to Saltimbocca three times and ordered the same dish: duck breast. I've never regretted it. My wife, on the other hand, always orders something different. But, again, she's never had a dud. We'll be back.

Tuesday evening the restaurant was busy. Service very good. Our entrees, mussels and calamaria were generous and very good. Main courses, pasta dishes and saltimbocca were all excellent.

Great food and a really nice place for dinner. Only negatives were the card payment surcharge on a $200+ bill for two people. Not a usual practice. They could also supply some bread with their pasta dishes. Wine list was reasonable, albeit small, and they didn't have the Italian Pino Grigio that I originally ordered, and I had to opt for something else.

Great food and friendly staff. We go here regularly and always have a good experience. The fresh pasta dishes are always good but so is everything on the menu. We had the bruschetta and cauliflower for entree. Both were great!

Food was great, service was excellent. Only criticism is that they have packed the tables in so tightly you might as well be sitting eating tea with the strangers next to you.

Wonderful restaurant, great to have a quality local that feels like a fancy night out. We recommend everything we tried - crab entree, duck risotto, marinara linguini, and profiteroles for dessert. Only suggestion would be to for them to make all their own pasta, for a more authentic experience. BYO wine option means we could enjoy a special bottle from our cellar. We're telling our friends, and will be back again soon!

A hidden gem! Stylish Italian restaurant, where authentic Italians serve fabulous food attentively and well. The gnocchi is wonderful - small feather-light pillows served in a delicious sauce. Desserts are worth saving space for. The panna cotta was creamy, with the raspberry sauce providing a tasty tang, and the vanilla bean ice cream a perfect accompaniment. This was my second visit, and I am already looking forward to my next.
