Over cooked food, unfriendly older male cashier, young female waitresses very good, food overpriced for quality. Have dined there a number of times, probably last
We Loved it! The food was excellent! The service was great! My favourite cafe's are usually never open in the evening. I LOVE that this one is. It was a perfect atmosphere for our group of 8. We had an excellent night.
Beautiful food and great service but slightly disappointed that they closed the kitchen before we could order dessert, the chef's apparently went home?. The restaurant was suppose to close at 10pm according to Google however they were packing up at 9pm? Great food but would've loved dessert!
The food was quite bland even though it looks delicious on the menu. There was also a bit of a language barrier with the waitress.
We had a lovely Sunday lunch sitting outside. Unfortunately the flies were very bad but there isn't much that can be done about that during a Queensland summer. I tried the pork belly, which my friend ordered, and it was very tender and moist - melt in your mouth! My husband and I had the chicken saltimbocca which was very nice and flavoursome. I would have liked a little more of the sauce, as the chicken was just a touch dry. However, it was a lovely meal, in general. The menu had lots of options, including gluten free, which is important to me as a coeliac. I would definitely go back!
Stylish and elegant looking restaurant, good menu with plenty of options to suit most tastes. Excellent value for money with extremely reasonable prices. Quick and friendly service
We attended Salt for a business lunch on a Friday. They were not overly busy, but we waited 30mins after being seated for a menu and then only received it because we asked for it. Service was exceptionally slow. Food was great. Left and went across the road for coffee and desserts because we sat with our finished plates in front of us for 45 mins, no sign of a dessert or coffee menu and table still uncleared when we left. Eventhough food was good, wouldn't recommend based on exceptionally slow service on a not very busy day.
Good food and service. Had breakfast, coffee was nice but could have been hotter which was minor. Ordered the eggs benedict but wasn't 100% sold on the sauce.
Share platter was great, though could have done without falafel (a bit dry). Sweats were nice but nothing special. Atmosphere was not what I had hoped for.
Our group of five enjoyed our meals at Salt very much. The share platter for two was very generous. The salmon meals were delicious. We will definitely be back.
It was nicely furnished, quite small space though. They got our order wrong but the staff were friendly. It took a while to get menus after we were seated. Food was tasty and fairly well cooked. Reasonable price. I would go back.
Very professional polite service, good quality but expensive. Entertainment guide voucher sealed the deal. Good quality ingredients and tasteful decor. I would return with friends.
Great atmosphere, great food, lovely evening. A bit disappointed with the service. We were keen to order a dessert but weren't informed the kitchen was closed until we had to ask to order dessert when our main course was cleared.
The music was far too loud and my first request to lower it was ignored. A second request was followed and peace followed. The food was very good, but for a lunch menu, it was limited. It needs to look at menus of newer restaurants and adopt some more exciting choices. Service was attentive and pleasant.
I've been here a few times now and it is always a great experience. A nice ambience and a good location complimented by great food and service. Highly recommended!
A very lovely dinner. All course and wine were very nice with attentive service in a great setting. Well worth a try if you are in the Western suburbs.
Fantastic breakfast menu! Highly recommended - a regular family weekend visit and we always leave very happy! no special order is too hard and the sides are very generous, staff are friendly!
Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Been in the same location for years. Always enjoy the experience as the staff are fantastic. Thank you again.
Salt is quiet nice service was good, the location is difficult to get a car park on Fridays or Saturday's, the de or is modern and the food was nice above average.
We enjoyed a delayed Valentines Dinner at SALT and found the atmosphere very relaxing. The food was delicious and original, the service attentive, and the price perfect.
Service was great - staff very friendly and helpful. Food was first class - we were not overwhelmed by hundreds of choices, but there was an adequate range of dishes. Would recommend highly.
There was a variety of food on the menu, Food was lovely we had the share plate, staff where friendly and quick. Overall a great experience
The service was awesome and the food was both well presented and delicious. We have been to salt on a number of occasions and it is always perfect. See you again soon 😀
Food was unimpressive and service was terrible. They put 5 of us on a table clearly meant for four and I was sitting on a walkway with people barging past me. Never going back.
the food and service were great, most enjoyable. Would be more than happy to return and would be certain to recommend to friends and family.
Everything was fine however the food had been reheated and was not properly heated through eg the creme brulee was warm in some parts and cold in others. The pork belly was dry The lamb zuchini dish was also warm not hot The waitresses were very good
The restaurant fit-out is very nice and having underground carpark at rear is helpful. The staff were attentive and helpful and the food was simply cooked and tasty.
So good! the wait staff was even better! My lamb shank was full of flavour. I wish my bombe Alaska was on fire though but I heard that it might be a health and safety issue. dang it!
We had a great night at Salt with four friends. The service was excellent, with great food and a great wine list. Excellent choice of gluten free food as well.
The food and service were good, though the dessert (bombe alaska) was not true to the traditional version of this dish, and therefore while enjoyable was a little disappointing.
The staff were very nice and helpful. We both had the Chicken Saltimbocca. The chicken was nice but the green vegetables on the plate were almost raw so we left most of them. We ordered a side of roast vegetables and these were quite nice. The meal was a bit too herby for me. The wine choice was good. My husband had the Creme Brûlée for dessert and that was nice. I had the Lemon Tart which tasted like it had loads of gelatine in it but the accompanying Lemon Curd, Ice Cream and Berry Jam were lovely.
Absolutely divine food. Great service. Cannot wait to return. All three of our main meals were lovely. The deserts however must not be missed. Bombe Alaska!!!!!
The service was very good. The quality of the food was good, and the size of the meals was just right. The cost was about right, so overall, a very pleasant experience.
Tapas tasting plate is awesome for 2. BYO bottled wine even better. Great location and cosy cafe. Worth a visit. Parking can be an issue though
Really excellent food and service. Wonderful variety so we decided on the shared plate for two. Very subtle tastes and ideal quantity. Would recommend highly.
Very enjoyable breakfast gathering. Able to reserve a table, contrary to another review. Staff friendly And helped us change to a warmer table. Delicious meals.
WOULD HAVE BEEN A 5, HOWEVER SOME OF THE ITEMS ON THE MENU WERE NOT AVAILABLE, SERVICE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE ALL IN ALL A GOOD EXPERIENCE
Food and service were fine but there were many flies around which was not pleasant whilst trying to eat. Outdoor fans were extremely dirty and off putting eating underneath them.
Pleasant service water was topped up regularly and staff were keen to please. We selected plates from the tapa menu and tried most of the selections. Food was ok but nothing special.
This restaurant used to be pretty good but the food was average and the telling tale was that there was only 4 tables being used on a Friday night when all other restaurants around were almost full the wait staff are nice but really hope that the chefs pick up their game.
Service was excellent from the moment we arrived. Food was soooo yummy would return and recommend to friends. Will be returning in a few weeks.
Great service, good value for money and parking availability. The only downside was my salmon was overcooked which for me is unacceptable in any restaurant. Everyone else enjoyed their food.
