Sala Thai Restaurant - Fremantle

Great food but service was a bit disappointing at the end. Fish cakes and tom yum for starters were fab. The red curry chicken and massaman beef were great too. We weren’t offered the dessert menu and the service seemed to drop off. Not a very good way to end an otherwise great meal.

Great service, great food. What's not to like! Fish cakes to start, massaman red beef curry and steamed rice to follow, very yum. Have the same meal each time and been heading there for 18 years! Husband and mine go to place for date night

Amazing food, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. The food here never disappoints. It was a very stormy night and the restaurant was lovely and cosy. Try the chef’s special Tamarind Prawns!

Best Thai food in Perth. Try the spicy soup, dumplings, chicken satay, stuffed wings, fish cakes, green curry, massaman curry with peanuts, beef salad with whiskey, spicy prawns.

Service was impeccable! The food was really tasty, with fair prices and decent portion sizes. Just wish there were more vegetarian options! However, the vegetarian dishes that I had were delicious. But I’d like to come back and not eat the same thing.

It was unfortunate we couldn’t contact Quandoo this alter the number of guests. Only 3 of 6 of us could make it. Terrie food and service thanks

Friendly welcome, delicious food, great service and good value. We had Chicken Larb and Pad See Eew, healthy and tasty. Pays to book ahead but even if not people can be accommodated on the heated front deck comfortably.

Food was nice. We were accidentally over charged for the wrong table and they chased after us to rectify the mistake, which we were impressed about.

Great casual restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. Biggest bonus for us was they were open on Monday night. That's a rare thing around here!

Been going to this restaurant for years and never never had a bad meal or poor service. Great food. A great place for couples or groups all catered for.

IFood was good and the service was excellent! It was Mother’s Day dinner, the restaurant was very busy so was pretty noisy in the dining room maybe next time we should dine in the veranda

The best Thai in Fremantle. Been coming here for 15 years now and the quality has never faulted. Credit to the two brothers. Always happy always delicious.

The staff were super attentive, friendly and polite. The meals were delicious and not overly huge portions. Spotlessly clean restaurant and restrooms always a pleasure.

As always very good but not as good as previous times. Staff were great and attentive satay and spring rolls were very good, red curry prawns and pad thai was also good but Beef massaman, the beef was a bit dry and slightly tough. Hopefully just a one off.

Friendly service and great food! We really enjoyed the fish cakes and the satay chicken as well as our main, duck red curry and Prawn Pad Thai... Only thing missing was more prawns...for $20 we would have liked at least 8 prawns not just 5 in the otherwise lovely noodle dish.

Excellent food and service! We started with Tom Yum Gai and it was one of the best I have had! Would recommend to all and if you have the Entertainment Book, you can get a discount on your meal (once only)

Always a pleasure! The food quality is amazing - definitely try the Curry Puffs and Satay Chicken Sticks - and the Masaman Curry. Lastly dont forget to try the Mango Sticky Rice for dessert!

First visit ,will not be the last, Thai fish cakes were great for a starter, my wife had Masaman Curry Beef which she really enjoyed I had Red Goat Curry and altho' I asked for spicy hot was a little disappointed as for my taste buds it was mild ,the coconut ice cream was delicious,great service

The Garlic Prawns were awesome! We weren’t sure about the $35 price tag but when the dish arrived with good sized fresh local prawns and plenty of them we thought it was worth every cent! The service was wonderful and they made the kids seem very welcome.

Food was absolutely delicious. Service 10/10. Good prices. Only small suggestion is that the bench seats in the court yard could be changed to seating with backs. We will definitely go back but ask for verandah tables. Lovely evening. Thank you Sala Thai. :)

Fantastic-really enjoyed the food-the service was impeccable-great variety of dishes-very accessible and plenty of parking in close proximity-intend returning in the not too distant future.

Sala is a nice restaurant. Staff are friendly & welcoming. The layout & decor is comfortable & warm. However, the food, although tasty, is what I call 'Falang Thai' with the spiciness toned down to suit the western palate. If you want hot choose somewhere else otherwise Sala will disappoint you.

Was a lovely food and good service will return for another visit. Wine list reasonably priced and food selection was good and not so overwhelming that it made it difficult to choose. Great night out.

Salathai was fantastic. The menu has something for everyone at affordable prices. The venue is nice and inviting without being overwhelming. The staff are great and very helpful.

We enjoyed a small gathering with friends at Sala Thai. The service was great .. fast efficient and polite and the food was delicious. The banquet was very good value. Many thanks .

We have not been to Sala Thai before but went on the recommendation of friends. The food was delicious and fresh and the staff courteous and friendly.

Not the best Thai food we have had. The service was friendly but there was a long wait between courses. Not worth a second visit for us.

The food was nice, but could have been spicier. Have had better elsewhere, i dont think i would go back. It needs more chilli in dishes that are supposed to be hot, and a few more vegetables and added lemon grass.

Great food and service at a good price. I would definitively recommend the chicken mince in whiskey, absolutely delicious. We also had the green curry which was nice too.

The food was amazing. The hospitality was 10/10 even though the restaurant was quite busy. And the ambience in the restaurant was very welcoming and comfortable

The staff were very friendly and helpful with ordering. We ordered the whole fish and they helped serve it. Food was very nice, although if you like spicy then need to let them know as the jungle curry could have been a little spicier.

Went to Sala Thai with a group of mates and had an awesome dinner. Food was excellent, atmosphere was brilliant and service was exceptional! Highly recommend anyone seeking Thai food should head to Sala Thai in Fremantle...DELICIOUS!!!

We had a lovely evening, the menu offered a many choices and the food was really good. Gluten free options were available too. Highly recommended.

Fabulous food, especially as we were able to order dishes without chilli, due to allergy. Good service. A suggestion: desert menu could be brought out when plates are cleared from main course. But no complaints whatsoever, it is one of our favourite (long-time) restaurants in Freo.

We’ve been going to Sala Thai for 13yrs and the welcome, service and meals are great each time, thanks Sala Thai, see you next time!
