Great food and friendly staff. Atmosphere was perfect for birthday dinner

I booked via Quandoo requesting an outside table for 4 as we've dined at Ruocco's previously and often and know how loud it gets inside. On arrival there were unattended tables outside with reserved signs on them. However, we were told that outside tables could not be reserved and there were no tables available and we had to sit inside tucked in a small corner in a very noisy room. This was disappointing. The waitress who told me this was also quite rude and made me quite angry. I told her we usually bring our dog so what would have happened if we had him with us and she said we would have been turned away. The food is always exceptional although we got our entrees and immediately after (while we were still eating them) our mains arrived. Ask for a break between courses.

Service was great, mostly because we booked early (5pm). Food was lovely as always and noise level was high, but we contributed to that so no problems!

Food was awesome, service was great. Table next to us were a but noisy which ws the only negative about the whole night. Thankyou Ruocco's!

Seated promptly and food arrived quickly in spite of it being very busy. Service can’ be faulted! Place was noisy but most popular restaurants are! Our only disappointment was the mushroom risotto special which was too dry and not creamy enough. Also could not taste the truffle oil.. We would go back again regardless.

Pasta was amazing, friendly service & comfortable atmosphere. Parking a bit of a pain but well worth it. The spaghetti vongole & marshmallow creme brulee are highly recommended

Calamari fritte in breadcrumbs ... very heavy and oily. Light dusting in flour would be much better. Waiters very good. Main courses good but amounts of food at least twice too much. Really very busy and noisy. Had to queue behind 6 people to pay bill. Clearly popular for those hungry enough to finish.

Great place to mingle and have a great feed. Food is always amazing.

Very noisy, 2 of the 4 meals were great, the spatchcock not so good, very hard to get the meat off the bone and floating in too much liquid. Good service

Food was delicious. Do make a booking if you're visiting on a weekend for dinner, there was a line when we came in and fortunately we got seated right away because of the booking. The pollo farcito (stuffed chicken) was really something else, never had anything like it.

Best italian restaurant i’ve ever been to! Being half italian I absolutely love my italian food and this restaurant has become a favourite for my partner and I. We love coming here, and will always be back for more.

Very busy yet well organused and the waitresses were very friendly. A very enjoyable Valentines Day. Last but not least the food was sensational as always.

Chicken was a little dry but saying that the pasta dips and the red house wine was lovely.We shall be back & if you are looking for a great pizza it’s the place to go.

Linguini and gnocchi excellent. Pork parmigiana poor, small and not much flavour. Grilled squid and salad good serve but no flavour on squid. Had to add lots of salt and black pepper.

Excellent food and nice atmosphere and surroundings... beautifully enjoyed. Our 11 year old Grand-daughter loved every minute of the experience especially the choice of deserts. Will come again.

Wonderful atmosphere, great service and delicious food. We have bought their pizzas regularly since way back in 1978 when they first opened. We regularly dine in and last night was a family celebration.14 of us in all. Everyone had a great night and the food was beautiful, as always. The best pizza in Perth by a long shot. Thanks for a great night.

Enjoyed our meals and the service was great. Impressed that more than one waitress could take our order and we could order starters while we looked at mains choices. Nice restaurant and buzzy atmosphere.

Great food, atmosphere and the staff are fab. The only criticism is the area out the back where the toilets are. That back area needs a tidy up/renovation. I miss the original Gorgonzola too but the new ones good to . Always the best made and perfectly cooked Gnocchi . We brought out family there who are from England and they loved it.

Ruocco is our favourite Pizzeria and Italian restaurant. Food is wonderful, atmosphere is vibrant and serving staff is attentive and cheerful. I wish I had a bigger stomach.

lots of wait staff wandering around, but we were forgotten after served main course. no system in place for wait staff. We had to go to counter to request desert menu

Very enjoyable evening. Good service without being intrusive or appearing to hurry us along although the restaurant was very busy. The food was authentic and very tasty, good serves. Warm friendly atmosphere. Definitely on my list for a repeat visit.

Good service and a very Reasonable price. The pizzas are quite large and we were only just able to finish them. Staff all very friendly and there was a good atmosphere.

Local restaurant, always busy. Pasta , pizza and a few main dishes well prepared and well priced. Try Duck ravioli in cream sauce .Quick and efficient service. Perfect restaurant for a family with children. A bit noisy inside but tables outside are quieter.

Great delicious food, just like Nonna’s cooking and delicious pizza. Highly recommend and we will be back. Always busy so need to book a table.

Prompt, efficient, courteous service at reasonable pricing. Friendly, relaxed setting. Extensive menu. Food well prepared and filling. Parking a slight problem. Good value for money

Great food, great service. My 12yo son chose Ruocco's for his birthday dinner with family because he loves the chilli mussels... huge serve meant enough for all of us to try.

Excellent and fast service with a vast menu of sea flavours and also of several types of meat to choose from. Congratulations to Ruocco's if maintain this type of service

One of the few places in Perth you need to try. Great atmosphere, excellent simple Italian food at a price point that is good for a large group of friends or family.

Excellent as usual, this is the first restaurant i went to when i came to this county nearly 30 years ago. Ive seen changes of owners and size but not quality. Ive introduced many people to Rocco's over the years ( Interstate and oversee's) and will continue to do so. Best Pizza in Perth and possibly the world : ) .

Food was excellent especially the dessert! Go the lavender creme brûlée - it’s incredible! It is a noisy restaurant but the authentic food and ability to BYO wine certainly make up for it!

Enjoyed the food, didn't have to wait long to be served. However, there's not much parking available around this restaurant, so my 86 year old mum had to walk a fair way to the place.
