Good welcome and service, seafood dishes (one pasta and my fritto misto) and the lasagne were great, wine (Browns Duriff) great, nice little lemon drink (sorry cannot remember the name, it was alcoholic) to finish up, on the house!

This is the first time I have been there since the revamp and it is excellent. The food the service and the atmosphere was first class. Thank you Rocca’s we will be back.

A busy and a bit noisy but great food restaurant. Most of the staff are more than accommodating even though they a flat tack. My favourite dish by far is the eggplant parmigiana.

The food was absolutely delicious, we all loved it and we will definitely be back! Lovely restaurant and great service, can’t wait until our next visit.

Lovely food and attentive staff. Attended this restaurant on Valentine’s Day and there was complimentary Prosecco and entree. Little touches like flower petals and love notes on the table made it even more special. Will be back.

What a lovely local restaurant! Went on a Saturday night when it was really busy but staff were very honest about how busy they were and that chefs were working flat out so order could take a while. Didn’t take long in the end and food was great. Clean restaurant. Genuinely friendly staff. Looking forward to going back.

Amazing food, great portions and variety. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is nice and bright. Lots of parking available. Great place to catch up with friends or family and have a meal.

Keep: Great food and friendly staff. Stop: Charging a surcharge when you pay by credit or debit card. Most businesses do not do this, especially on a $270 bill. Consider: Larger tables when seating 6 people, we were on a table that would have suited 4 with additional chairs squeezed on the end. Took too long to serve us drinks. Staff did not acknowledge us when we left. Shame the lack of attention, feeling squashed and the surcharge detracted from the food. Our waitress was really lovely. We were first time customers and the location of the restaurant really suits us, but we probably won't go back as have received better service in other local restaurants.

What a great meal, good service however what a disappointment that at the end we were charged a credit card surcharge , will think twice in going back.

Really enjoyable birthday celebration for 10 of us. Lovely food, friendly and helpful waiters, prices were fine. The menu was large and varied, sitting vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The pescatarian was very happy with the seafood dishes.

Delicious pizza with thin tasty crust worth a try. The chefs special cake was a beautiful Cyrus blend with ganache on top highly recommended. We will be back again. Can’t wait to try the pasta dishes

Great food ...excellent service...we visited from Brisbane and tried the local restaurant.....large meals....quick service.....clean and tidy....if your looking for a money for value restaurant with great service and food this is the one...

The food is fantastic. We were in a big group of 13. The table was too squashed and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend for big groups

Was happy with the food selected and the people were so nice. The coffee just needs to be abit stronger guys. But overall really nice.

Rocca's has had a nice makeover - better signage and decor, and amazing (very clean) bathrooms. Our only issue was quite loud, inappropriate music ('Queen' - great but not everyone's a fan) but on request they kindly fixed that problem. The food is still good - our friends who eat out a lot loved the calamari and the pizzas are great. They even let you have a doggy bag which some places don't. Not cheap but why should it be? Quality ingredients and home made food and friendly staff.

The service was efficient and friendly and the decor is bright and modern. Probably best just to have a pizza as our meals were nothing to rave about.

The pizza was fabulous it was a good as the pizza I had in Italy last year. Although the restaurant has changed name and owners I highly recommend Rocca's

This is one of my favorite restaurants. Didn't love the Tiramisu, but didn't hate it. Other than that, everything else was just above and beyond. As usual.

The food was excellent. Good quality and very tasty. Waitresses were delightful Italian girls. Service attentive, but not rushed. Not a cheap Restaurant, but well worth the Dollars.

This was our first time st this restaurant. Food was excellent, we had very tasty mussels and great fried calamari and generous helpings. Service was very good and reasonable prices. We’ll be going back to try the pizzas next time.

I've been here few times either for lunch or dinner. Never disappointed great italian chef and pizzaiolo, the staff can easily guide you through the menu..they know their food specially the home made one. Good vine list.. Insomma un ristorante italiano dalla A alla Z. Andrea

The service was great, food excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. Great offer on Tuesday nights pizza or pasta plus soft drink all for $18. Will take the family along next time.

the pizzas are so delicious - perfectly wood fired and just the right amount of topping. The prices are reasonable and the staff super friendly.

The restaurant is casual but very pleasant. The wait staff were efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. The cocktails delicious. There were 4 of us on a Sunday night and the restaurant was not busy. We had an excellent time and plan to go back again. We would happily recommend Trattoria Il Casolare.

We have been here 4 times before. We keep on coming back because the food is second to none! The service is friendly and the pizza dough throwing is very entertaining... especially for the kids! We don't go anywhere else for pizza! Great job to management and their hard working staff!

Our group enjoyed delicious pizza's and pasta. The day potato fries were a delight and the donuts and dessert pizza were delicious. The service is warm and friendly, would definitely return.

Great food, best salt and pepper calamari we've ever head. You could smell the sea in the Oyster's, so fresh, I had the roasted pumpkin gnocchi which were amazing and the service was excellent too. We even got complimentary wood fire baked bread to take home. Overall a wonderful experience..definitely be going back.

The staff were so very helpful and took great care of us. the food was delicious and the vegan adult and 2 children finished it all. The others all remarked on the high quality. The entire table loved the pizza twirling dance an hour after we came in and the 5 year old girl thought that he was completely magic. It was a great night...very enjoyable and memorable.

Great food - but care, large portions. Salvatore is a character, exhibits his pizza tossing skills night. Good fun night - recommended for families and couples.

We were attracted by the comprehensive Italian and Pizza menu and the ability browse and then to book on line. The food did not disappoint. The Restaurant was smart modern with very friendly and professional service. We will certainly make this one of our regular restaurants. Great new addition to Blackburn.

Great food and great (friendly + efficient) service and offers good value. Authentic pizza dishes and real Italian-speaking waiters. Chef really knows his stuff. Reasonable quality Italian wine (a Primitivo $30) available at an excellent price for a restaurant. Excellent off-menu green salad provided at request - cost only $6. Only possible negative was that the restaurant was a little noisy for those who prefer a more intimate experience. For those who like the buzz of a popular restaurant it was a plus!
