Great eclectic fit out, service and food. Also, we could book a table instead of being made to revolve our evening around the venues preferences.

Delicious food, kind customer service, amazing music and a beautiful venue. Although our table was not ready on time, we were looked after by staff

Always a winner.... from the staff to the food, to the music played. One of my favourites in Melbourne. Bangkok bolagnaise for the win. :)

Fabulous food, great atmosphere, however avoid dining there Tuesday nights as there's a very loud trivia contest happening. Soft shell crab curry a must! Very reasonably priced and large serves

Long wait,very noisy. Too long between courses and the drink wait was absolutely ridiculous. I've been several times to this restaurant and have never had a bad experience. Probably won't come back.

Consistently awesome. Good vibe and great food. You must try the fat duck noodles, lotus root salad, Penang lamb curry and the spicy sausage! A+

The food was amazing! Nothing we ordered was average. The place was packed and we still managed to get our food quickly. Staff and service are fantastic!

Funky restaurant, delicious food & amazing cocktails. We had the pumpkin & cashew dumplings for entree & they were so good. The duck red curry for dinner, couldn't fault it! Great find ! can't wait to go back.

Fantastic food, great atmosphere and great service.. Highly recommended for a night out with friends. The cocktails were amazing as well and the menu very well priced.

Red duck curry with coconut rice was delicious! Bangkok bolognese also very satisfying but except something closer to pad Thai! If you are hard of hearing best try somewhere else, the music is great and the volume is loud!

Excellent food, service and managed my group booking of 14 with great professionalism. The manager,Nikki, is a star as we're all the staff. Highly recommend!

Food is excellent and service is always spot on. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone, they can cater for large tables too. Loads of choose from on the menu.

authentic thai food in a cool environment. wine list too expensive fior what it is but food reasonably priced. I recommend locals' night in thursday

Good was very nice. However, we ordered a red duck curry which was apparently new on the menu, the dish cost more than $20 but there was hardly any duck in there. The duck was sliced up thinly and I think there were only 5-6 slices in the curry.

Service wasn't the greatest which is a shame as I've been many times before and was always pleased except standards have really dropped. We found our waitress very condescending and she couldn't really answer any questions in a clear manner. Based on this experience, we wouldn't return.

We enjoyed the food and the service was lovely. Its a bit noisy which makes conversing difficult. I would go back but early before it gets so busy.

Great service & food! This is at Revs so the atmosphere is grungy but that's the point. Staff are happy & accomodating. Amazing betel leaves!

Food was way to salty, especially the "Bangkok Bolognese". An service was extremely slow with half the staff seeming poorly training in everything from menu knowledge to using the cash register. Went there in March last year and food and service was so much better.

Food, Atmosphere, waiting on staff all 10/10. I had been told how amazing this 'temple' of a place is for food and it did not disappoint. Unfortunately it was a real shame the bar staff had no manners.

Security guards been so rude . Everyone was upset about that. Also floor was so messy and smally. Bathroom was so dirty and there wasn't any tissue

Vibe inside is quite eclectic and retro, slightly sticky it is Revolver after all but service was great and food was delicious with so much variety on the menu. Great drinks list too.

Great eclectic venue and tasty food. Service is friendly but a little slow and a couple of the dishes were delicious but not as described. Would go again.

Good atmosphere. Drinks and starters were pretty tasty. However, main dishes didn't come upto to the par I expected. I ordered tofu eggplant mad saman curry which was predominantly chunky eggplants in curry.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. The only slight blip was that we were seated in an odd little thoroughfare, but otherwise would wholeheartedly recommend.

Pretty great, but maybe didn't live up to the hype? Service was ok, food was a bit hit and miss, but the hits were fantastic.

Always such a pleasure to visit Colonel Tan's, especially on a Thursday. Tasty food, good value for money accompanied with great music. Get the Betel Leaf Salad (vegetarian, the smoked trout is much too overpowering) and the Penang Lamb curry - the eggplant relish that goes with it is delish.

The food is quality in revolver, and I'll keep going back for that alone. Great value for quality food. The problem there is the staff, they seem disinterested and when asked for assistance they seem put out. A few times we have had problems with the bill or the table and the staff become cocky and not willing to help.

Great night out with a group of friends. Wait staff was extremely good, we had the $35ph banquet and a decent spread of food.. yum! Will be back

Best Thái in Melbourne do yourself a favour and order the 5 spice chicken 😜 Best in the world and the Betal leaf salad so good...

The service was good but the food was below average. Strange combination of ingredients such as soft shelled crab with beetroot, and it was tasteless.

You won't regret a visit to Colonel Tan's. We take advantage of the locals night on Thursdays, and the food on any day is amaZing.

The food was innovative, delicious and value for money. I like the atmosphere but i wouldn't recommend for older people or first dates. Friendly staff but could be a little bit of a wait in service. Would definitely go back!

Awesome food, new rule for locals night is everyone at the table needs a proof of address.. which meant no half price for some of us, apart from that was a great.

Great service , friendly staff. The food was delicious, loved the lamb curry, full of flavour. A fun night out with the girls, highly recommend.

Food was great though the chilli squid could have come out a bit warmer. Sometimes was a little difficult to get the wait staff's attention but overall a pleasant experience

Had a great night there for my birthday! It seems a little weird to me that the whole bottle needs to be brought over when ordering wine, I think just pouring the glass at the bar would be easier. Especially where there are 5 glasses; all different types/bottles. However the food was incredible and love LOVE the atmosphere there. Will come again! :)

The food is amazing, and really well priced. It was great to go as a group and share. The Fat Duck noodles are a must.

Great atmosphere, food and service! Extensive menu fabulous vegetarian, seafood and meat options. Authentic Asian flavours and with half price night for locals on Thursdays I'll be going back more often!

I don't think one should ever be pressured to finish the meal and pay the bill. Getting a 10 minute call is what i get at work, not at dinner.

The food at Colonel Tan's was delicious - we will be going back there again. The vibe was relaxed, service was quick and easy and everyone had a great time!

Best, best food, and really great service. Can't fault Colonel Tan's! We had the popcorn chicken, roti & chicken curry dip, sweet potato dumplings, Chicken kaffir & lime burger and the Bangkok Bolognsise, a bit overzealous for two people but it was all just too good!!
