Good food. Great atmosphere. The sevice was fast and the house red shiraz was fabulous. Pizza is terrific and the chicken ripeno was delicious. Yay.

Service from Ellie was very friendly and helpful without being intrusive, meals were served in a good time, serving sizes were generous without being huge and tasteless (eg Sofias) and food was lovely. We will be back.

We had a voucher but still had a great choice from the menu. The glass of sparkling wine was a nice extra to the choice of wine. Enjoyed the Calamari and Salmon. Also the meatballs and risotto. Choice of deserts was good. Have been before and will come again.

Our family eat at Positano's regularly. We mainly share pizza it is an excellent family restaurant. We have always found the service friendly and professional.

Highly recommend positanos in hallam great for family catch up or dinner for 2. Excellent food and service ,friendly atmosphere. Menu is excellent lots to choose from.

Very friendly staff. The food was very nice but a bit over priced. especially the kids meals. I would prefer smaller meals for less money.

Second time we've been there and very happy with the food and the service. We will definitely be going back to try something else on the menu, as there's only so much food you can eat at one sitting! lol.

The service was excellent and the food was very well presented. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of lamb on my lamb pizza. I thought the prices were expensive as i took 4 people out for lunch and it cost $137.50.

My dining experience at Positano has always been perfect. Friendly greeting at door and staff that are eager to please. Recently I had lunch there with my grand daughter who has allergies to certain types of food. Her meal was made with care which made our dining experience so much less stressful. Thank you guys. Positano is my favourite local restaurant if you are in the area try it.

I had the Veal scallopini which was very tender and tasty. The service was attentive but not pushy and there was a very welcoming feel. Overall a great experience.

We told the waitresses we were going to be there for several hours, they hovered and were persistently over diligent, like annoying mosquitoes. We asked for one meal to be split on two plates, it was bought to the table as one meal and we had to split the meal at the table. The food was good, the service over zealous. Will not be going back.

Always a great place to enjoy a meal. Quick friendly service. Unfortunately we were seated next to a large group of very noisy people. That mean the two of us couldn't hear each other speak.

Food & Service was good, we were even offered other peoples coffee. The manager was lovely, very obliging & helpful as we had an issue with our gift voucher.

Our food & Drinks (entree) kept going to wrong table and was sitting at other table for afew mins before waiter realised. Our mains were flavorless. I asked for Rare porter house and it came out Medium. And mushroom sauce was so watery. My husbands chicken parma was burnt and had no flavour. The waitress kept coming over constantly and a kept trying to take our glasses of drink before we had even finnished them. At one stage our friend had literally just put down her glass and before she could place it down on the table, the waitress was there to grab the glass which was annoying. Like she had no other work to do other than hover over our table or was it to rush us out? Our food plates were being collected whilst others at our table were still eating. Having worked in hospitality before, dishes should not be collected untill all people have finnished. 1 person was left eating whilst our plates had all been collected which made her feel uncomfortable like we were watching her eat. So she stopped eating. Worst thing is that we ordered hot coffees/tea and the waitress came to place these on the table on the side where my husband was sitting holding our new born baby. She could have stood at any part or side of the table and she stood right over my husband. Had she tripped or lost balance, those hot drinks could have fallen over my daughter. I asked the waitress to move and be carefull but she just looked at my odly. Overall we were not the happiest with this restaurant. Food needs to be more tastier and staff need to be trained on serving.

Excellent food, but annoying when staff keep asking how are things when you are trying to have a conversation and the restaurant was quite noisy at times. But overall great.

top class service. Have to say the waiters were the best I have ever experienced would rate 5 star and over hotel standards . Being in the restaurant business myself you noticed they were always checking from the corner of their eyes whether a customer needed to be served and always responded promptly. Well done to manager for training staff so well. Food was served in no time was a real fine dining experience
