Awesome food friendly staff great music will be back soon. Had my birthday there so the whole family came. Made it a very enjoyable evening

Food looked good but the taste or lack of it did not live up to the expectations I had! Service was very good and speedy.

The heating was not connected and it was freezing!! Cold drafts blowing in from the back. I would have thought that management would have sourced some alternative heating while they get their system up and running.

Pistol Pete's has great atmosphere! Food was good but missing some flavour. Servings were huge and service was fantastic. A little difficult to find though.

Consistently excellent food every week I go , staff are fantastic , best customer service. Love every item on the menu, true soul food. Nothing beats those Cajun fries with creolaise 💓💓💓 tried the pecan pie for the first time and fell into a food coma, absolutely delicious. Highly reccomend this place to anyone wanting a great feed. Have never left disappointed or hungry lol 10/10

The place to be in Geelong for good Southern food and a dose of the blues. Pistol Petes is always a great time. Drop in anytime for some food or a drink, there might'nt be a live band playing but there's always blues music jumping out of the speakers.

Our 'go to' restaurant when we want a easy night out. Great food, friendly staff, plenty of parking nearby and the meals are very filling.

Great vibe, yummy well priced food! Great to try different types of food. The chicken was delicious and you know it's going to be good when you could choose about 10 things off the menu which is why the tasting plates were great!

Southern American style food, pulled pork, southern fried chicken and a dish called gumbo which was to die for! Great to eat something a little different. Great service and atmosphere as well.

Food was delicious, adequate wait time for meals. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. We got a decent amount of food for 2 people for just under $80.

Greeted by a smiley face and exceptional helpful staff. Food was quick after ordering. And tasted great. Water could be added to the tables and the dessert menu expanded. Overall experience was great

Great food, lovely friendly service. The owner is hands on and that provides a fun professional atmosphere. They were happy to make changes to the meals on the menu to suit our individual dietary requirements.

Always a great night at Pistols, Food is always cooked to perfection. Tried the Chicken Waffles which surprised me, and great music to go along with it.

The food was good as usual but we were sat under a leaky air conditioner that kept splashing us during our meal. When this was brought to managements attention they did not offer to relocate us all they did was give us some extra napkins.

We always have a great time at pistol pete the food is fantastic and service is great. We will keep coming back. Next time it will be to stay to listen to live band.

Thoroughly enjoyable night. Food was great and the music too although we did find it a bit loud. Service was exceptional. Only complaint was my wobbly chair:)

Really enjoyed the food, great atmosphere, would have liked the band to start playing at 9pm though. excellent service and very friendly, and reasonably priced food and drinks.

Good value, make sure you have the okra and the mustard greens, it really balances the proteins well. Wine by the bottle reasonably priced. Will come back next time when there is live music too.

Cozy venue, great food and service. Pete is constantly scoping tables to ensure all are comfortable, and not thirsty. Muso,'s are top notch. Easy place to find. Great ambience.

Very tasty food and a very casual atmosphere. Our seating wasn't in the best spot (too close to other tables) so maybe we should have asked to move.

Relaxed venue, good value food and plenty of it. Music very loud so not possible to have a conversation through it but if you are there to listen to good music you will enjoy it.

Fried chicken is seriously good! Had the pistol platter as I couldn't decide what to pick, so had a bit of everything. Can't wait to have it again

Good show Pete. Glad we booked a table for 4 and we ended up 5. The Organ Grinders and Bianca were stunning. Friendly service, clean toilets and the American style of food was done well. Southern Chicken very good. Beverage price was reasonable. All up a great night out thanks

Excellent American food, had the taster plate and swamp fries. The price was very reasonable. A well needed change for the current dull Geelong restaurant scene, I would come back again no worries.

Great Cajun, New Orleans menu, good portion sizes, fair prices & friendly, warm & inviting atmosphere. The bonus is the local, live & super talented bands who perform there. In the heart of Geelong CBD & open on a weeknight, we will be back again & again & again.
