Pistol Pete's Food & Blues

Pistol Petes is the best thing to happen to Geelong. The food is amazing and the live music is top notch defiantly worth a visit. Staff are always friendly. 👍

The chicken and waffles with candied bacon is my go-to!! The food is always delicious, the atmosphere is relax and fun and the staff always make the experience enjoyable. Definitely one of my favourite places for a casual lunch or dinner in Geelong.

The service was great food fantastic highly recommend it to anyone music was fantastic cant wait to go again to try more of there yummy menu and they have a good variety of beers

Ok food, not many GF options. Good for meat lovers, pulled pork is very good, corn cake was very dry. Good atmosphere & central location.

Good food delivered promptly. Great jazz band-pity they didn't start earlier. Better signage needed to entice passers-by to drop in to have a drink and hear the music.

Great food and great atmosphere. Just sorry we couldn't stay for the entertainment. The Pistol Platter was big enough to share and the chicken and waffles were great. Good selection of beers.

Fantastic atmosphere and service, great food, generous portions you never leave here hungry. Will be back again, make sure you book as it fills up quickly at night.

Wasn't what I thought it would of been like and still undecided about the whole vib of the staff as they don't wait on you but are to in your face

Food was tasty and generous serves. We went hoping to listen to the trio they had booked, we didn't know they were only starting at 9pm. We had made our reservation for 6.30 with our kids. Other than that we enjoyed our night.

Great service, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, Chicken & Waffles with candied bacon was amazing. Will be going back for sure to try something else from the menu.

Great music from Sunday Blues band - very tasty food especially the fries they were very crunchy - loved the molasses salad dressing! Prompt courteous service.

It's not big so make sure you book. Atmosphere is typical NOLA. Food was great, although, I did miss Mac n cheese. The southern iced tea is amazing!

Friendly staff, great service. The food was satisfying. Only thing was it was very tricky getting in and out of our seats as the spaces were pretty tight.

Not our first time,definitely not our last. The food is, of course, exceptional and tonight's music fantastic. It made a great night for a celebration.

Was excited to watch the band, but didn't realise how late they were playing. Only improvement I could suggest to this amazing diner with delishious foods is to start the bands a little earlier so more people can enjoy the atmosphere!

Love the owner, great personable host. Fun vibe, tasty food and many awesome bands. Can sometimes be a bit loud for such a little space and the Portaloos are a bit weird but otherwise a really enjoyable night out is always on the cards here.

The food was great and so many choices. We started by sharing a few things between us and that just encouraged us to try more. Great atmosphere, music and service. We will definitely be back.

Good selection of food and drinks, everything was yum! Great way to spend a Sunday arvo, enjoying some live local music. Service was of a good standard!

Good southern food, that wasn't too expensive! Would like to see a little more on the menu, though. The band, Catfish Voodoo, were great and we danced all night!

Great food and great service, the venue has really good vibes and we enjoyed a comfortable dinner. Will be back again soon, the homemade BBQ sauce is just the best!

Staff were very helpful and friendly We ordered the mojo burger Cheese and bacon BBQ burger, chicken and waffles, gumbo and jambalaya (my favourite) All of us enjoyed our order and all of us want to go back with friends. Live music starts at 9:30 next time we will book for 9pm It's a small place and people were being turned away-be sure to book

Visited here with my wife for lunch as we love creole food. Boy were we in for a treat. Everything that we ordered was amazing and they even catered extremely well for my wife who is a cealiac. Definitely coming back soon!!!

Food is amazing, good price for quality. They were quick in serving the food. Definitely will go back again. May be a big smile will when serving will rate the place higher.

We had a very enjoyable, pre-show dinner. "In Ya Hand menu" gets messy but it's delicious! Everyone enjoyed their Burger's and Po Boy's and washed it down with ice cold beer & wine!

Great intermit venue with a great atmosphere , I live about 100km away and next time I visit and stay in Geelong I am going to make it a point to return we had a great night.

Busy Saturday night an all tables taken, people turned away with no booking. Service was freiendly and efficent and the food good value. Unfortunately our booking was at 6.30 and the "blues" band did not start until 9.30 so we missed out on that, it would have been great to hear them.

As always, comfortable, excellent food at fair prices, expanded range of drinks since my last visit & just the best live, local music. The whole experience was a lovely mid week night out.

The food was pretty good and we didn't have to wait long for it to be on our table. However, the atmosphere was loud and dark and the waiter had the personality of a corpse.

Our first visit to Pistol Pete's was a positive one, with friendly service, an eclectic atmosphere and great food. I will return again soon, thanks

Food is always fresh & great quality , well presented , staff are super friendly & Pete is always welcoming :) my favorite regular venue to eat at every week. Those Cajun fries keep me coming back for more. Can't praise this place enough :) thank you for the great food guys!

Pistol Pete's rocks!!! Fried chicken is the best and the performing artists were outstanding. Always a very warm welcome. We have been going to Pete's for 3 years, our home away from home.

Great service, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Food we ordered arrived quickly but was nothing to write home about. Would try something different from the menu on the next visit. Would have loved some live music whilst we were there, would have made the whole experience even better.

Great food. Nice staff and fabulous musicians. Probably go once per week. Great atmosphere. Owner Pete has a love of all things to do with Blues and supports the Blues county both music and lovers of blues music.

This Quirky trendy laid back bar lends itself to a great night out.I went out with some friends and sat at the window table and as a group of friends walked passed we invited them in to join us for a night of amazing Blues by Wayne Jury...This bar has a relaxed vibe and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel like your at a party with great friends...Well done Pete...
