Pistol Pete's Food & Blues

We had a great time! Food was good! Band was good! We'll definately go again! !we were a group of 7 I would say a group is the best way to enjoy it.

Live Pistol Pete's. We regularly visit to enjoy the Blues music and Southern Food. Best music place in Geelong and perhaps Melbourne. Music most nights and Sunday afternoon.

Great little place. Tasty food, large portions and reasonably priced. Live blues/rock you can't experience anywhere else in Geelong or surroundings. The only negative is the that the place is very small and there's no room to dance or just hang in an open bar area/lounge. It would be good it it could expand a level up. Maybe in time.

great music and heart attack inducing food. could work on the coffee but otherwise it was a great lunch. small venue so make sure to book

Omg they have the best BBQ cheese and bacon beef burger I have ever tasted! And the fries were awesome too! Definitely well worth checking out in Geelong.

Alas, some of the audience were there more to listen to each other talk more loudly than the musician but that was not Pistol Pete's fault. The food was good and the music great

A great afternoon relaxing and enjoying music from Sunday Blues whilst having a few drinks and of course the yummy Cajun fries n Shrimps bucket.

Caring service, fabulous food, great atmosphere and the best live music around. Once you go it will become your regular hangout. Pistol Pete's is a cut above the rest.

The music and food was amazing .The place was rocking with the young people in the band doing an unbelievable job .Geelong needs more of this giving our young talent a go .Thankyou Pete

Fantastic food, we have been back three times. Chicken waffles are great and this time we had the platter and shared it between two people but was still to much food.

Relaxed venue, nice and friendly staff who go out of their way to check things are ok throughout your meal; food was simple but very satisfying re portion sizes and taste. Would go back again.

Southern fried chicken was yummy. Get to pick 3 sides with main meal and it is huge servings. Great value for money. Definitely going again.

Just like a good painting this place has to be admired and seen in person to appreciate its brilliance!!! Located within the bustling Little Ryrie/James St entertainment triangle, we found Pistol Pete's to be a very welcome surprise and addition to the Geelong dining scene. Although the restaurant is small, the atmosphere was lively and the food menu broad and interesting. And when the food arrived (very quickly I should add) it didn't disappoint; large portion sizes of very tasty and interesting food combinations. I've never been to or eaten food from the US south before, but after eating at Pistol Pete's I've now added this area and food style to my to do list! Our only regret from the experience was that we couldn't stay on for the live blues music that was scheduled. We will definitely go back again for a later sitting to enjoy what must be a great live blues setting.

Great southern style food. Large 'american' size servings. Would love to go back when the live blues is on as feel the heightened atmosphere will make the experience even greater

We had a great night, good music, great food and a night out with friends topped off a lovely weekend. We loved the share platters the pulled pork was the best.

Pistol Pete's is an excellent live music venue in the heart of Geelong's entertainment precinct. Great atmosphere, great food, wonderful service! Highly recommended - don't worry if you don't know the musical act on offer - it will be well worth the visit.

The food was great. I had the fried oyster sub and my friend had the cheeseburger. We did wait, however, quite a while (30+ minutes) for our 2 meals to arrive.

Great little American joint on little Malop st, the gumbo wasn't for us but everything else was awesome. Would definitely recommend and will be back again soon

Best burgers I've had in geelong! Juicy patties, full flavour, awesome sides. Only down side is trying to figure out what to have! So many choices, and only one tummy to fit it into!

Nice place, nice staff, priced well. The only thing missing is flavour in the food. Spices, sauces and/or dressings are meant to enhance the taste of the food. In this case, they were bland, making the food well cooked, but boring. Certainly nothing at all like authentic cagen food.

The food was fresh and awesome and everything we expected. The service was good, great atmosphere and decor. Limited drinks for non beer drinkers though.

Great food and well priced. Very good service. Very loud, hard to have a conversation, but it was a Saturday night. Will be going back.

If you're interested in a quick bite, somewhere with a casual atmosphere then this is your place. I had the pulled pork which was scrumptious. Tunes on a Sunday - big winner!

Great food and excellent atmosphere, everything was delicious, the fried chicken extremely tender, the waffles and ice cream with peanut butter & honey sauce was to die for!

Always good food and good service every time we go there for a bite. And i enjoy the blues playing in the background for that change of pace ie. relax :) Next time will be trying the outdoor area.

The music was great. I don't know that much about sound acoustics but the sound and levels in the room seemed really good. Very friendly staff, good times!
