Pirata

Great food, good service and nice location. Pirata is a great place for dinner between friends or for a couple dinner (2 floors with slightly different atmosphere). I've been to many Italian restaurant in HK, and only few can nail properly the Italian recipes. Truffle pasta dish was the highlight (not made with the cheap truffle paste you can find in most of the other restaurants, real truffles please) and my aperol spritz was great. They even have sgroppino ! We will come back for sure.

Decent food for the price, good location and service. Can get loud when it is crowded so not suitable for a quiet meal for group dining is fine.

Good food, nice decor. But it can be a bit noisy if there is a big group with lots of kids. Rooftop area is great but it seems it's not ready yet after Sunday brunch hours.

Great meal at a reasonable price for Hong-Kong. Lively and quite noisy venue a bit cramped but service and food excellent. We enjoyed grandma's selection which included 3 starters, a pasta dish, a main and desert. All great!

Service is usually great at Pirata, but had a bad experience this time for lunch. Waited for our main dish for 50 minutes and the waiter was nothing but mean. Food is excellent as always, but timing won't allow me to come back for lunch.

Staff looked busy but not productive. Too out drinks order but arrived after entree was consumed. Asian girl with short hair was looking like she was most productive. Other wait staff need to be adequately informed of wine recommendation & meal matching - some idea at least

Great service. Great food. Great drinks. The view is amazing as well. It‘s the 30th floor. After we had our food they even took us to the rooftop.

Good ambience. Great food. An array selection of wines although they didn’t have the bottle of wine we provisionally ordered. The mains were served right away as soon as our apps were cleared. Could’ve waited for another 15 mins or so and could’ve ordered another bottle of wine. We feel that it was somehow rushed. Our server was superb in the beginning then service went downhill after mains were served. It took half an hour for our mains to be cleared after we were done - we had to call for her attention in the end. All staff could use a smile on their faces.

Great food, cozy ambiance, warm Service, excellent value. Definitely recommend and will come back The outputs salad and the meat balls (MMM) are my favorite. Egg plant and the suckling pig are so yummy.

Nicely decorated and cool atmosphere restaurant. Service was also good and comfortable. Their recommendations, butcher’s combo, octopus salad and others are so delicious. We had a very good time!

reception experience was poor.Otherwise,service and food ( except risotto), tasted bland) are good. It's time to review menu offering after couple of years opening. Affordable wine list.

An excellent restaurant. That unusual thing in Hong Kong - great service. Food was excellent, well presented. The restaurant is quite small but we had a splendid view right next to the window. A good all round experience.

Small space. GREAT food. I would most definitely go nack the next time I am visiting in Hong Kong. Orecchiette and meat balls were supurb.

Service was quick; there was a good variety in the food and it tasted great. We ordered multiple dishes and shared them. It was a good setting for catching up with friends!

We love the food and the atmosphere there. Had a wonderful time with family. The Butcher's cut was really good. Love the wine and cocktails, too!

Visited for lunch. Good quality buffet even though the choice is limited. Average mains but good desserts. Music is a bit too loud. Not bad overall.

We had an amazing brunch, and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the city view from the 30th floor. Will definitely return in the future.

Went with 4 friends for dinner and drinks. We arrived a bit early so we were seated at the bar because the dining area wasn't yet open for dinner. The hostess invited us down to the dining area once things were ready. Our wait staff were very friendly and attentive and made some good recommendations for dinner. We had the asparagus flan, calamari, side potatoes, lamb shank and risotto. The food was amazing and the portion sizes were just right. We had the panna cotta and tiramisu for dessert. Both were good but not outstanding. I would definitely return for the food, friendly staff and atmosphere that Pirata provides.

Great restaurant with warm ambience. Food quality is top and service provided by staff is pleasant. The only downside is the high noise level, which could be fixed with noise reducing ceiling.

I love this restaurant. It's a good place to gather with friends. I had a lunch semi buffet there last time. The appetiser, main course that we chose was a steak in a portion of two persons and the free-flow drink are good.

Great ambience. Outstanding service. Whole sea bass was tasty and perfectly cooked. My only criticism was that they had sold out of the tiramisu presumably because it was so good.

Food was more than average but the overall service was average. Serving was slow. My friend ordered a coffee affogato. By the time the waiter brought it to our table, more than half was melted already before pouring espresso because it was left outside for too long. We know because we were watching the ice cream melting as no waiters were available. Maybe they don't care because you will pour the espresso anyway? But that's not the way it supposed to be....

Excellent food, great service. Orecchiette was beautifully al dente and was a highlight. Suckling pig was not quite as expected though. Tiramisu is a must try.

Worth every penny! It is quite expensive for a lunch, but the overall experience and the quality of the food mitigate it all. Hard to find good cheese and cold cuts that doesnt cost a fortune in Hong Kong.

Excellent service, perfect environment. Must try the 1kg T-Bone steak!!! You won't regret it I will recommend all my friends and family to this restaurant.

We just loved this restaurant. Service was great. Food was amazing. We really could not fault anything. We can't wait to go back and try some other dishes on the menu. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is so sweet that they take our photo and gave us with a Birthday card & coupon, which surprised me. My friends were delighted. I have been here few times, the quality of food is still very good but the music is too noisy.

We enjoyed our evening at Pirata and would definitely come back. The service was great but ragu was a little dry. The eggplant parmigiana and the spinach salad were delicious. Good wine selection too.

Pirata has great atmosphere and good food in general. The server even offer us a free appetizer as well. I would like to try more of their pasta next time.

Pretty decent food at that price point. Bread could be better though. Got lucky by being allocted a table for 4 for only two of us. Wouldn't fancy being seated at one of the small tables as they looked cramped.

Tasty, delicious and caring services during my lunch period. Particular the meat ball who close to the Italian style. In addition, no stress during lunch and waiter / waitress are not pushy. I will come back with my guests next time for sure.

Nice place, very friendly staff (maybe a bit too friendly actually, as they kept on interrupting our conversation to ask if everything was fine), good food but rather small portions. Very reasonable prices though.

The service was good especially with the cake cutting for my birthday. The food was good but the steak was hard and chewy and quite bland. With all the good reviews read about the steak, it was a bit disappointing. The clams were over cook. The friendly service made up for the overated food.

The restaurant has good service serving authentic Italian cuisine. It was an enjoyable lunch with sufficient choices for appetizers and main course. The self-made pasta is worth to try.

Every dish that we tried was delicious, especially the suckling pig. Atmosphere is not so private though, with closely packed tables and overly attentive staff.

Been here 3 times now. Food is excellent, but the service is consistently bad. They take forever to take your order, they bring appetizers out and then you won't get your food until like 20 minutes after you've finished your appetizer, if you ordered any sides they won't come out within 10 min of your main, and lastly they take forever with the bill. Even for HK, it's just a really bad service experience.

First impression of the place is 'small' as we were placed at a bar table on the 30th floor. Food wise, we ordered 2 appetizers, mussels and an Octopus salad. Salad is a bit blend, but the sauce of the mussels is tasty and good fir bread dipping. For main course we had suckling pig, which was tasty and crispy. Music chosen was a bit loud and noisy plus the fact there's a big table of 8 near us, which contribute more noisy. Not a wise location if you want a tete a tete, or enjoy a quiet dinner with good friends.

Delicious food and great service. They gave you a tasting of the beef tartare and make sure you like the taste before it is served.

Tried the lunch semi-buffet ! Food variety at the buffet corner is not much but taste okay ! The main course is excellent and the gentleman who serve us is very friendly and he let us have an alternative choice of dessert after he realized we don't like chocolate mousse on the menu ! Excellent service I would say as he observe what his customer needs
