Paris Go Bistro

A traditional al a carte dinning experience with a terrific French menu and the food is exceptional. I can recommend oysters, French onion soup and beef bourguignon. The restaurant has a well chosen wine list to match but is also BYO. Would recommend it.

Started well. Friendly service. However after the entrée, the main course was average and the dessert hopeless. Will think twice about going back. Over priced for what we got.

The food was excellent and the service precise and friendly. I recommend it as a beautiful little and quiet restaurant for intimate meals with a great variety of regular fare plus excellent plat du jour options.. I had prawn bisque and lamb with a delightful risotto and would have it again.

Good service coupled with good food and a pleasant ambiance made for a lovely lunch for our group. Not especially cheap but we were all happy.

Good informative service, noisy but that is the vibe. Food was alright but not stunning. Then again prices are reasonable. A popular place well located.

Constantly consitent quality. Paris Go never fails to deliver quality. You can't go past the black truffle omelette for flavour and the Eye Fillet and bernaise sauce and chips is outstanding.

A very enjoyable dinner for four people. The French champagne was a delightful start to our evening. We shared the terrine for entrée and three of us had the duck for main course, again an excellent choice. The fourth main was the gnocchi which looked delicious. The desserts were superb, lemon tart and profiteroles. Once again well presented French food, what more could you want.

Delicious food served by a friendly professional waitress in a cosy setting. What more could we want? Paris Go is a hidden gem! Don't tell anyone.

Cannot make a "bad" choice off the menu; everything is terrific; specials are worth it too. Glassware excellent; go early as it can be a bit noisy.

Very good as usual, the wait staff are lovely and the restaurant is never too loud considering the size of it. The best steak going around.

Great food and service. We had the caramelised onion and camembert tart and the special snapper with stuffed artichokes and duck, all of which were great. The staff were friendly and they even made a big fuss of our anniversary

The food is to die for BUT!!!!!!!! the waitress Sunday night who served us would be the most unhappy sour person me have ever met - no smile - no please -no thank you and then as these people always do told us how we could tip - go away We have decided next time in Melbourne we will go elsewhere which is a real shame as the food is divine. Excellent food and ambience. Web site could be more helpful on directions/location. Would recommend to family and friends without hesitation. Daily specials were,in this instance,particularly good.

Brilliant restaurant - good service, great authentic food. Caters well with GF options too. Many favourite dishes in both entrees and mains. We are repeat customers who frequent for special occasions. No hesitation recommending.

Loved ParisGo on this occasion as in previous years. Courteous service, EXCELLENT food. Menu suits all tastes, with extensive specials. Unfortunately no room for dessert.

The food was excellent as usual for this restaurant. The service was poor. The attitude of the male waiter who served us bordered on being rude. It will be a long time before we return. There are plenty of good restaurants that are more welcoming.

In the past we have given this restaurant a higher rating, however, it was clearly understaffed in a crowded environment. Despite their best efforts and pleasant demeanour, the service was unsatisfactory. We have enjoyed it in the past and will definitely return to Paris Go.

Delicious albeit a little cramped but worthy of a visit. Don't expect a cheap night. Enjoyed the French food immensely, particularly Rainbow Trout entree and beetroot side dish.

Always an excellent meal with great staff. Love the steaks and best of all you can BYO wine. I would suggest that it is an underrated gem.

French 'standards such as onion soup, steak frites and creme brulee but also delcious specials. Friendly service. We were asked to move tables to accommodate a larger group, and were given a complimentary bottle of wine for our trouble!

The food is just delicious, place was busy and needed more waiters as the service was slow but they it didn't comprise on quality. Great place.

An excellent French bistro with a large menu and excellent wine-list plus BYO, too. Do yourself a favour and go. I thoroughly recommend it all.

Excellent choice of wine ,crispy duck and delicious tender lamb with truffle mash.Other guests enjoyed their truffle omelette ,the slow cooked lamb shoulder and the escargot

Lovely! Always delicious, the steaks are delish and perfectly cooked. Staff are always friendly and alert and the food does not take long to cook

Overall, decent food and good service. Found my entree trio could've used more pate as it was a smear and that my main needed more garnish. Mash potato isn't enough at $41. My humble opinion though.

Food was lovely but the service from the male waiter was appalling. He was rude, spilt champagne on one guest and didn't even apologise. It was like we were inconveniencing him by being there!

A fav location for French food and wine lovers. Authentic French Bistro style food. Have been eating here for over 20 years and this place never disappoints. Hope it is around in another 20 years.

We had a lovely evening, the food was great - we both had steaks which were cooked exactly as requested, service was attentive and charming, great wine list!

Excellent as always. Very busy but staff handled it well. Always a wonderful experience. My only gripe would be the staff could have been a liitle more on the ball when it came to pouring the wine.
