This restaurant never disappoints, food is always super fresh and staff and service are always excellent. We usually order from the entrees- calamari, whitebait, dips, sheftalies , and salad. Literally can’t pick a single fault in any of them. Unfortunately didn’t have time to get dessert this time but the hot pastry with the custard inside (can’t remember the name) is unbelievable.

A really pleasant surprise. Second visit and with the assistance of the staff we ordered well and enjoyed the meal and atmosphere very much. See you again soon!

Great food and service, I'm not a fan of lamb in general but their lamb is amazing! Lovely place for simple night out or birthday celebration.

A wonderful night with friends and the food was superb. The atmosphere is wonderful and although it can be a bit noisy at times, the place is designed for lots of food and lots of conversation! The set menu is delightful and it is traditional but has some lovely urban twists on their recipes. Loved it!

Have been to Parea a few times now and have not been disappointed. Wonderful atmosphere and food with excellent service. A great venue to dine on a not so busy night.

The food was great. Servings very large. Our table service was excellent. All round the service was spot on and friendly, lively atmosphere. Would recommend for a group night out.

Both the food and staff were fabulous. We had both the meat and seafood platter & cocktails. All were cooked and made to perfection. I highly recommend it.

The service is faultless, they’re consistent every time I’ve been here and are so efficient with getting the orders out. This would have to be the best Greek I’ve had the pleasure of eating in Sydney and can’t recommend Parea enough. Quality Greek!!

Food was authentic, tasty and plentiful. The meats are fantastic but couldn't fault any food item. Service was excellent from one little red head girl who was just outstanding and buzzed around her section making sure everything was fine. This place offers fantastic value and even the alcohol is priced reasonably. You MUST book as it gets packed all the time.

Great atmosphere. It was a 90th birthday for the family of 10 and we chose our own dishes to share and had plenty to fill us all. The food was very tasty especially the grilled octopus and chicken skewers. The staff were excellent and very attentive.

The Greek salad was tasteless and had no dressing and it Also needed salt. The bougasta dessert was the highlight of my experience. The flavor was incredible and the best iv ever had. Hot gooey centre crispy filo pastry with perfect amount of sweetness with an amazing vanilla icecream.

Service was excellent and the food was great too, however a little too salty and as for the loukoumades, they were still very doughy on the inside. Simply, they were undercooked.

The food at parea is amazing. We had the banquet and everything single thing was fresh and tasty. The only downside is rushing out for the next sitting at 8pm.

Great food. We ordered the meat platter for 2 and 2 share plates. I loved the large serving sizes as this was enough food for 4 people. Will definitely come back.

The staff is very friendly. We found it a bit pricey for what you get. The place is always buzzing with people. An overall pleasant experience!

Absolutely stunning traditional Greek cuisine. Beautiful presented and refined home style cooking. Plenty to eat with lots of variety and colour. We took the rest home as it's too good to leave behind. Exceptional and friendly service. Our guests were so impressed that they will definitely be returning very soon with their families.

Have been there a few times as it’s been recommended by friends. Most recently I suggested to have a late lunch with my other friends and the service was ok because the staff didn’t explain how the entree dips work as we thought it came with the pita bread too. Food portions were good, but tonnes of chips on the platters though. It’s a good local Greek place to go.

Excellent food and attentive staff. The portions were much bigger than I anticipated. There’s a carpark too but we didn’t know until after we’d found street parking. Hughly recommended.

The Tavern is around the corner from our house and for a suburban location the food is fantastic, good value and the service was great. In previous visits they push the food onto you and when you are trying to make a night of it, tour home before its darK!! Worth a try, if you haven't been before, you will need to book on week-ends.
