There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. The food and wine were delicious. The staff were warm and friendly. The decor was casual and inviting. I’ll be going again… and again.

Can’t wait to go again. Service was amazing. Food excellent.

Booked the table, we arrived early and the table was ready. Our waiter said he could help us with choosing with any dish due to the language. The drinks and food came out at a good pace. My veal was plated well. Beautiful textures and tastes. Everyone had a different dish and each equally sensational. The restaurant has a great fresh atmosphere and the aesthetics could not be more perfect. My favourite restaurant.

We came for lunch to celebrate a birthday, everything was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was reminiscent of Italy! Absolutely fabulous, would definitely recommend!

We arrived a nd were told all 4 chefs were not coming in, no mais or pasta available great start service sloppy food ordinsty only entrees and pizza. I told them mistake to open .. create more harm than good very disappointing

Our dinner last night was amazing. The service at this place is fun, attentive and professional. The staff went out of their way to make my birthday dinner something extra. We took a long time to choose our meals as the menu had so many delicious offerings and there were no disappointments there.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Friendly service. We will definitely be back.

Well what can I say, the staff were so lovely and the ambience of the restaurant was excellent, close to the beach and in the hub of fisherman’s wharf. Unfortunately we didn’t have great meals and they really need to work on this. The mussels were overcooked and very average. The ragu was bland and the seafood in the pasta marinara could have been of better quality. Not great mussels or calamari. One guest had the lemon chicken special and enjoyed this. I would like to return and give them another try but their pasta meals need to step up.

We had lunch yesterday the food was excellent large portions but not over the top The service was fantastic very nice and polite staff and nothing was to difficult to change things on the menu 5 stars for the staff and chef . Will be back for sure

It was my daughter’s 21st birthday they didn’t even acknowledge this and it was noted on the booking. The food was only average, I’ve had better Italian. Won’t be re visiting.

First time visit with friends, we all enjoyed the meals selected. Service from staff was fantastic. We chose indoor but not greatly concerned with outdoors on a beautiful night. Recommending venue to friends.

We enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Ostro Italian. Nicest barramundi I have ever had at a restaurant. The waiters and waitresses were super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely recommend to friends and go back again. Thank you to our lovely Italian waitress 🌺

Gorgeous restaurant lovely location at Bathers beach very attentive welcoming staff. Entree was delicious (arancini) mains average ( tortellini and seafood basket)

Absolutely disgraceful service here, we ended up walking straight back out and dined at Char Char which actually had amazing service. Makes sense now as to why Ostro had so many tables available

The staff were very helpful and friendly. They made various recommendations about the dishes on the menu and I thoroughly enjoyed the pan fried fish (no batter or chips in sight thank goodness). Very good value for your money. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Chef Andrea provides brilliant authentic Italian fare. Wine list could be better and no need to have a Chicken Parmi on the menu...it's not a pub!

This is my third visit on a Wednesday $20 pizzas. I can't wait to try the $20 pasta night. Very clean, lovely ambience. I was a bit confused about BYO as I did query some months ago and was told it is fully licensed. However last night two different staff said two different thing: yes/ no. Which is which? I'd go back regardless.
