Okami - Whittlesea

Unfortunately the food and drinks were slow out due to how busy they were, we didn’t get 2 courses that we ordered and what we did get was overcooked especially the tonkatsu chicken. We love coming to the restaurant but will avoid busy days to get a better experience

Second visit to Okami Whittlesea and again got the wonky table 33A please fix or replace this table

Everything was very good. Good food and good service too.

Everything was amazing!! Food was good, even the kids liked everything they tried and they are usually fussy. And the price is great for an all you can eat place. Going back in 2 weeks, can't wait

I’d been before but brought my family this time and they loved it!! All the portion sizes were much bigger due to the size of our party, and we all left very full and happy

If you like Japanese you cannot go past this place!!

Food and service is always good, when we arrived and were seated we found it cold inside due to the air-conditioning being on quite high, once we addressed this with the staff the issue was resolved, thanks for a good dinner.

Our dining experience was great! My friend and I follow a vegan diet and we we’re more than thrilled with the wide and delicious selection of dishes that arrived at our table! (The grilled eggplant salad was my favourite!) Thanks Okami Whittlesea, for introducing us to your very wonderful Japanese cuisine and, with the AllYouCanEat option, we simply couldn't find better food, with good service, ambience and value anywhere! We experienced lovely service. Staff were wonderful. Was great to be able to have small serves so we could pick our favourites.

Staff quite attentive. Chicken yakitori very dry and chewy. needs to be more moist and tender. Beef teriyaki chewy as well. We ordered beef udon noodles but they arrived as we were eating icecream so something got lost in the kitchen there. Apart from that, loved the customer service.

The food was delicious, and the wait time was much quicker on a Friday night.

Really enjoyed our experience at Okami Whittlesea. The staff were fantastic and the food was excellent.

Overall had a great night. The service was very good & friendly & the food was very good. At times waiting a while for food. As the restaurant was 1/2 empty it would have been good to have customers spread out a bit rather than all crammed on one side of the restaurant which made it a bit noisy & not much room to get out from table.

Both waiting time and noise levels were impacted because of large number in restaurant due to mothers day gatherings. Had the al cart menu which would also add to waiting times on such a day. Aware of this and would not put us off from going again. Great lunch.

We have been before and our previous experience was amazing. In comparison, the food seemed to lack favour, the service was good from taking the orders, but receiving the food was really delayed. We were disappointed as it was to celebrate my husband's birthday.

1st time here. Great service, and great friendly young staff ( most would be 1st job) excellent job guys( @ gals) Food great, only received one wrong order, but was good to try. Will be back again for sure. Only downfall was they ran out of vanilla ice cream. Maybe next time.9/10 though 😊
