Okami - Warragul

The first order takes a while. So secret is order different food so you have enough before the second batch comes in as it takes time. Food was good specially the beef steak and fried rice. The portion is good except for sashimi there is only 3slice in one order. Will definitely go back.

Firstly waited 30 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Only got approached twice to order and both of those times we had to flag someone down due to being ignored or forgotten about. Even with the 2 tables next to us getting attended too we were always missed. Food was great though, but the service needed work. We were practically invisible to staff, even when they stood to look around.

Okami Warragul is always such good quality it's our favourite

Easy booking. Great menu. Good service. Staff friendly. Easy parking. Have been here several times and it does not disappoint.

At least we've tried it once. Never again. Overpriced and overrated. Underwhelming. Oily, stodgy batter on the tempura. One beef dish was chewy, and had some gristle, even though the meat was finely shaved. At least the sashimi was good. the green tea ice cream just tasted like green coloured vanilla ice cream. Definitely one of the worst I've had.

Food was fantastic, hot, tasty and plentiful. Service was slow to begin with but got better. Restaurant was very noisy, my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and were placed next to a large work Christmas party.

Food is pretty good, been here a couple times. It’s nice to have a Japanese place in such a small town. We did have a few mishaps though. I think cause it was so loud the waitress didn’t hear some of the things we ordered, so we had to re order them and get the correct thing.

It was a great experience. Service was quick and we didn’t have to wait for staff to take orders or know when we were ready for our next dishes.

Everything was absolutely amazing!! Food was delicious, the service was absolutely phenomenal!!

Enjoyed our visit and look forward to going there again.

We were the to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary… This was first time , food was good some of the hot food was only warm by the time it reached us otherwise the food was great ….the staff at Warragul were excellent so helpful ,attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was a bit loud for us , however we had a good time , l would definitely come back again .

We visited Okami on 25/10 for the first time. Staff was courteous and respectful. Helpful in choosing the menu. Loved the ambience and the menu selection. Food service was prompt. Just a suggestion, If you could have some more options in dessert as well.

My wife is confined to a wheelchair unable to walk the staff and management could not Have been more accommodating the food is always great and the fantastic service from our server made a special lunch foboth my wife b

A great opportunity to experience a new cuisine in sample size portions and go back for more if you love it, but not be left with a plate full if you don’t! What a wonderful idea! Very nice way to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Delicious food and good service! The bonus was when the person who we were paying asked for my husband’s seniors card! 🤣 and told him he looked 60 when he’s in his 70s.
