Okami - Pakenham

We have been to this restaurant before and had a good experience but last night was different, we were overlooked by waiting staff, they concentrated on the larger tables, we ordered 3 times over two hours and did not receive a beer on the first order, garlic vegtables on the second and the fried rice was nowhere to be seen, one dish a steak dish was cold, we asked two of the staff to help but they responded with I can't help this is my first day. We were very disappointed. We probably won't be going again.

Always amazing, the most delicious and fresh food! Always a hit with anyone we recommend it to!

Waited 20min to get served, but otherwise everything else was great.

It was my daughters birthday. We celebrated with family and friends and we all thought the food, service and staff were wonderful. Although the air conditioning was on too high, we got too cold. Besides that.....you will see us back again😁👍🏼 Thank you Gillian Hare

I took my partner here for date night and it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere was lovely, the waiters were so friendly and nothing was too much of a trouble. The food was fresh and came out without hardly any wait. Very impressed and will be back in the future!

The food was reasonable but we had to ask 3 times for wine glasses, got 3 waitresses in the first 60s asking if we were ready to order (give us a few mins!) And importantly... at the end of the meal they started wheeling out these trolleys filled with garbage!! Awful. Its cheap, but it shows.

Our first visit was great. The second one, however, not so much. The food was great and generally came out promptly. Then we had to wait around 50 minutes for our additional two chicken katsu’s, the only thing my daughters eat. We notified two or three waiters about the order but it didn’t come, until one of us went up to tell the manager. Even then, only one katsu order arrived.
