OKAMI Pakenham

The iPad ordering system was annoying and changed all our orders that we had ordered 2 of (because more than 1 person wanted the same dish as someone else) to only being able to recieve 1 at a time. A slow confusing system the iPad was that said all the deserts were sold out which they weren't it wasn't until we left and went to pay the guy mentioned deserts need to be ordered directly not off iPad despite the iPad saying deserts were sold out so we went to sit back down to have desert after the fact which was annoying. Another family leaving overheard my ipad desert conversation and thought the same about it all being sold out even though it wasn't but couldnt be bothered going back for desert so just left. 1 ipad to order off for a table of a few is too slow. You want to be served when u go out to dinner not have to deal with confusing technology. Also the food didn't taste fresh especially the fried rice tasted bland and off. Some of our sushi was dry and off tasting. Our ginger strips looked re-used. Disappointing considering the price was more expensive at this Okami than others we've been to. Won't go back to that one!

Always a great time going to Okami in pakenham. The restaurant is clean, spacious, the staff are friendly, and the food is always superb. Thanks for accomodating our special request for a booth seat as well!

Dinner was great love the new computer system so so good can order when we want and not having to wait 😁

All food amazing have new menu. But ice cream cant order more then 1 pp. My kids always love to go to Okami because them can eat ice cream more then 1. If you like to be buffet but want limit ice cream just take out menu. I pay $19 for kids and 3 kids not really eat much them always have 2-3 ice cream except last night. Make me to think about next time now. Buffet that mean All you can eat. If anything you dont want on menu buffet just take it out to be A la

I loved the food it was delicious! It is a great place to eat with friends and family. Service was pretty considering how busy it was. So I left with a smile on face and a stuffed stomach.

Our 1st visit tvOkami Pakenham for our 37th anniversary- food was great perhaps not as it would be in a fine dining city Japanese restaurant but value for money- staff attentive prompt & efficient- for the suburbs a great midday meal - we will go again! 😊👍🏼

Really loved the ordering system with the tablets, it was all you can eat, so you can just keep ordering things off the menu as you pleased. So when you finish one dish you select another dish off the tablet.
