Okami - Hoppers Crossing

Food didn’t come to the table as hot as normal, however the service was really quick. I think I prefer the slower service, however I can see that some wouldn’t agree.

it would be great if there's more choices of food

It was our first time and it was a very nice experience,my children were there before with their Aunt and uncle,and they introduced us to you and told us we must go and we are very glad we did,we will see you again soon.

Loved the food: miso strak, tempura, chawan mushi, sushi and sashimi platter, cooked prawns, chicken and vegie karaage, beef carpacio, green tea and black sesame ice cream as well as dai-fuku! Worth the price you pay

Friendly staff, good variety of food, service is highly recommended, nice atmosphere.

So their system failed for whatever reason and did not bother telling their customers. So we waited for an hour not getting all our orders. Finally, when we complained we got our food... eventually... after being asked twice if we got our order again. Not to mention the number of times they were serving us the wrong orders multiple times. I get their system failed or whatever but it would've been nice to let their customers know.

It was a pretty decent all you can eat restaurant.

First time to the new outlet at Hoppers. We usually go to Footscray for the all you can eat sessions. Food was good as usual however felt like the place was under staffed and took forever for the food to come out. There was no system to how the food came out. Items ordered later was served before the items we ordered at the start were served. It was hard to keep track of what was still not served. Some items never served at all. Felt like we were constantly waiting for food. Some items when served to the table was lukewarm. The outlet is nice and large and can get quite noisy. I think will stick to the Footscray outlet for better service even though it’s further out.

Great food, was just very noisy along with the music. Also very cramp when sitting on tables in a group :( but over all was a good experience

Food was good but I’ve had better. Very busy and loud. Food cane out quickly once you were able to flag down a waiter, no easy feat! Value for $, yes but you get what you pay for.

Ok place. Good staff. Needed first sitting out earlier. Entire second sitting waiting outside at 8.45pm. Other than that very nice. Great food.

Found a hair on my sushi but she just took the whole dish back to kitchen without saying or doing anything.

Nice Place..more roomy than the footscray ones.The food came quite fast,nice waiter n waitress. Definately will come back again. Note: Book online is a lot easier n less stress,as they rarely pick up the phone.

The service was very slow and lacking, the food was cold by the time it got to the table, had to wait till half way through the meal for our drinks to come out, overall it was VERY under staffed, which was the cause of all its problems. I have been to either Brunswick and Footscray at least twice a month and so much better. A good thing was the parking and the front of house staff member seemed to be the only one who knew what was going on and to be done. Sorry for the not so good review hoping things will improve.....

Great customer service. Food was ok but some dishes could do with some minor refinements like the Beef that lacked seasoning and the Edimame was rather hard and dry otherwise good establishment and would visit again.
