My husband, 2 of my sons and I decided to try Okami as it is nice and local and we love to try new cuisines. Having only eaten sushi before, we were keen sample more Japanese recipes. We were NOT disappointed !!! We tried many dishes and can truly say we enjoyed them all right down to the black sesame ice cream ....YUM !!! My family particularly loved the seafood. I, myself am vegetarian, and there was plenty for me to choose from. Also, the staff are lovely and very helpful, and come around often. In a nutshell.....Okami is our new FAVOURITE restaurant !!!

There was plenty of good food and the service was quick

The food served was nice and quick. Service was good and we were able to get the waiter’s attention straight away. Considering, there is not much dessert to chose from, surprised that there were one person limit on the amount of Green Tea and Black sesame Ice cream you can order as previously there was no limit.

Food was ok, but not great. Service people were attentive.

Unlike other Japanaese eat-all-you-can restos (like Tokyo-Ya), Okami doesn't allow you to order sashimi only, you have to get the sushi too. Also the portion size varies from the pic on the menu and yet you have to watch out for leftovers or they will charge you. Orders are also sometimes super late. $35 is too much to pay for this kind of disarray. I might as well go to Tokyo Ya or New Quey.

Unfortunately this time we didn’t really enjoy our our meals as they were dry. Very little sauce and no dressing on most of the dishes. This is our favourite restaurant and I have never needed to write a unflattering review which makes me sad. However it won’t stop us from going again hoping it was just a bad night.

We had a table of 8, once the order was taken the food started to arrive within 3 to 4 minutes. The serving sizes were adjusted for the number of people which gave us ample food. The staff were very efficient serving and clearing the table. The time allocated for the dinning session is more than ample because of the efficient service. Well worth the experience and quality of the food. We will be returning.

The food was delicious we waited our 1st order to be taken for 30 mins drinks were delivered 30 mins after the order. in the end we waited the ice cream for same time. a bit disappointing. when we were there before with bigger company it was quicker. do you guys prioritise service based on table size? the food was delicious but the service... not going to come again.

We had ordered ice cream which we followed up 3 times and it still had not arrived after 45 minutes. Other tables next to us received their 2nd order of ice cream before us! How long does it take to scoop and serve ice cream?!

Okami is consistently good - quick service, delicious food and set price. Regular favourite of ours.

We came here for the first time recently and had to come back quickly we loved it so much! Usual amazing food and value that Okami delivers, again with great service. Looking forward to our next visit!

Our first visit to the new Hoppers Crossing store was awesome! Food was delicious, layout of the restaurant was nice and spacious, not crammed in like the other Okami locations I have been to. It was a little hard to get service and know who was and wasn’t able to take orders. Overall, a great night!

The service was amazing food was fantastic, only negative comment I have was we were a table of 10 and we were squashed onto a table for 6 , but other than that was amazing.
