Okami - Hoppers Crossing

Very disappointed this time Dim sims were cold Katsu chicken was burnt and dry we got 3 servings of it and all had black on them and overcooked.

Prefer waiter/waitress than scanning QR code. More relaxed and you only order what and when plates are needed. QR method ended up in ordering too much. Otherwise, great night/meal. Thanks

Most of the food tasted good except miso soup tasted like water.

Used to go on regular basis but tonight was disappointing waiting too long for food ordered an then they forgot one of our orders. Won't be back in a hurry

We were booked in for 1:00PM seating, walked into restaurant at 1:03, even before we were seated we for firmly told we have until 2:00 to order with 2 menus given on the table and a QR Code docket. Me and my wife have dined in with at your establishment once before and it was very wonderful experience as it was first time experience for our family and they came with us on our recommendation and it was below average this time. We felt were rushed and have to eat asap because not long after that we got another notification by team at the restaurant that we have to be out of restaurant by 2:30PM. On Regular times yiur guests get 2hours seating and we were shown the door fairly quickly, from the moment i walked in it felt like we made a mistake. Overall it wasn't a pleasant experience from all the aspects.

Very enjoyable as always; service, food and ambience. Unfortunately though, prices have increased at least twice since we've started coming here approximately 2 years ago. I appreciate utility prices have also risen but I'd like to see this restaurant maintain its value-for-money label. Thanks

Nice food, good value for money. Although a lot of protein is the same, with a different sauce squirted on top. Staff are friendly. Food comes out in no particular order.

We ordered spicy salmon sushi as our last dish at table 4. One waitress told us to wait, saying the order was in the system, so we waited for a long time. Later, another waitress came and said the order was not in the system. This same waitress, who had processed our payment, was rude and dismissive. We were cautious about eating everything because of the leftover charges, and as a result, my wife didn’t have enough food for dinner. Other than this issue, the food was good, but overall, it was not a pleasant first experience.

I have visited the Craigeburn restaurant on many occasions so thought I would try our local Okami. Well, I wasn't aware you had to use your telephone to place all your orders -as we were two couples the other couple ordered their food and we ours, when we also ordered what they ordered we did not receive them. A waiter / waitress rarely came to our table so we had to wait before we could get any service. There was also a time we asked for table water and the waiter never returned for about 45 minutes and then apologised and said they were sorry - they had forgotten.
