OKAMI - Greensborough

We booked dinner for 11 plus two babies (and requested two high chairs, as well as giving notice of a pram) Dinner was tasty. Most items were exactly what I hoped they would be and there was a good selection on the all you can eat menu. The venue was VERY busy. Not a single chair free in house and they have done a great job of creating a space suitable for sardines. No space to push your chair out- no room for high chairs and we ended up storing our prams in the toilet. Because they were so busy, service took a while and this meant we were waiting a bit for drinks in particular. Overall the food was good. But it was a very stressful experience. It wasn’t “all you can eat” in the traditional sense- because every item was brought to the table to share across the table. And when we tried ordering a few of one item, we were given the third degree. Finally, we were advised that the sorting was 2 hours. But we were told last order at 9:10pm and our booking time was 7:45pm. That’s frustrating. Perhaps this is more suitable for small groups. Groups of 2-4 max.

Great food always fresh and with a couple of bottles of you know what, we’ll it’s a fantasy experience

Okami is excellent value for money, with a bustling, friendly atmosphere. The service is fast, attentive and helpful. Best of all is the Japanese food. We took the "All You Can Eat" option, which offers special prices for seniors and children. The menu is quite large, with a wide variety of dishes - all of which come in generous servings, beautifully cooked and delicious. Highly recommended

Great restaurant with good vibe and delicious food. The All You Can Eat dishes are varied and our group of 5 really enjoyed our meal. Service was friendly but a little slow. However the restaurant was busy and we didn’t mind the wait as the food was worth it.

The food is fresh, tasty & not greasy. Great selection & service was attentative & polite. One point off as it was a bit noisy. Will definitely return again.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Cannot recommend Okami highly enough, it is a perfect way for anyone that hasn't tried Japanese cuisine to try it. The portion sizes can be a little small but this is offset by the fact that Okami is all-you-can-eat so you can just order more if you like a particular dish.

Delicious, fresh food served quickly as soon as you order. Best all you can eat, friendly service and great promptness for serving food. The fresh sushi which you can see being made to order is a must!

The meal was delicious and service was great too. We had the all you can eat option. Our favourites were the sushi and sashimi platter, beef carpacchio, and miso steak.

Okami Greensborough once again did not disappoint. Good food, friendly and cheerful staff made for a great night out and the food keeps coming. Capped off beautifully with black sesame ice cream.

Night started of well until we had to pay. I don’t agree that you can’t split the bill. The last that served me was not helpful. It’s disappointing as our express before this was wonderful.
