OKAMI - Greensborough

Everything was great, service, food etc. my only complaint would be that my son, who is 12, had to pay for an adult meal and my understanding was that a child was 12 and under.

Food was amazing and service very good. The concept of small servings of lots of different things is a great idea and allows you to try new things.

Food was good but a bit slow in bringing dishes to the table. A bit noisy so if you're hard of hearing probably not the best place for you.

Most of the dishes we tried were quite tasty. Quite a few of the dishes were only almost cold, which suggests they sat around a while before being delivered to our table. Service speed drops off severely as the place fills up.

The service was excellent and the food was all cooked fresh. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone! The only thing I could fault is there wasn’t much of a selection for dessert but everything else was excellent.

Hi I have been a few times but last time I noticed the food was much less and it was not as per menu. I ordered sushi platter and it did not come with all fishes. The food was much less so we ordered food twice. The service was good and friendly. Food quality is great but portion too small.

Even though Okami appeared fully booked, we were quickly shown to our table and our order was taken pretty much straight away. The food is delicious and the $32 all you can eat buffet is great value, especially as each dish is cooked to order. All the food we had was very tasty and the staff were friendly and efficient. Looking forward to going again very soon!

Great atmosphere, with fantastic range and quality of food, and the service was prompt and friendly. We had a great night, and will definitely go back again.

Food was nice but took a long time to take our order. Had to open and pour our own wine and were told to leave before finishing our meal and drinks at the end of the evening. Not terribly impressed. Half a bottle of wine wasted!

Value for money was great. Sushi and Sashimi were very fresh, and there were a few other stand out dishes like the eggplant salad, katsu chicken and seafood tempura. Miso soup was virtually flavorless and Green Tea Ice Cream was inconsistent with levels of Matcha. However, the Black Sesame Ice Cream alone will have me coming back!!

Good variety of fresh food to suit everyone. The all you can eat option was worth the price and the staff were attentive and polite

Food Was Fresh, Staff were very helpful and Very clean, what ever we ordered it came out presentable. The only thing i can sort of complain about is the tables are a little small and not much sitting distance between tables ,besides that i will return.

The buffet was worth very cent . Give it try you will enjoy it. With the variety of dishes you can't go wrong.. Eat and enjoy.

Food is delicious, service is great and value for money is outstanding! BYO was terrific but the restaurant was quite loud. Overall, really enjoyable experience, I’ll be back.

We enjoyed our meal on a Sunday lunchtime with friends, staff were so friendly and helpful and the food just kept coming. It was an All You Can eat but you ordered what you wanted and it was cooked fresh, not put in self serve cabinets. Food was yummy and lots to choose from. Would recommend this restaurant.

We had plenty of food that was super fresh and super tasty. Came out nice and quick. You really can’t beat the value for money!

The staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They were polite, came at the right time and provided suggestions. The food was excellent. We tried lots of different dishes and enjoyed them all. We had a very pleasant evening and we will certainly be back.

Always love going to Okami Greensborough. Great service and food. Only didn’t get full points as I always find the seating a bit like I’m squashed in!

High quality food. Due to the high volume of people at the restaurant, sometimes you need to ask waitresses twice to get something you ordered but it is a minor thing. Food is excellent.

Okami is wonderful in every way. Amazing amounts of food for good prices, quick and friendly staff and delicious meals. The banquet was perfect for someone like me who is on a FODMAP diet.

We didn’t like the 2 seats at the front of the restaurant they showed us to as they were squashed in, but we were able to pick another table further back. I noticed while we were there that other people also rejected that spot. The food was great and staff helpful. We went on a Thursday night and it was about 3/4 full.

Always amazing food, staff are wonderful..definitely value for money. Ambience is great..easy to park nearby..can be a little noisy so don’t go there if you want a romantic dinner for 2.

Service was a bit slow but over all it wasn’t bad. Normally go to Fairfield but tried greensborough tonight as it’s closer to us . Will probably come back

Amazing service. Booking was easy and accurate. Small restaurant and very noisy but with my table of 15 it was probably mostly us. Menu was extensive, they catered to all dietary needs (even supplied separate gluten free sauce) and the food was delicious.

There were six of us dining and we ordered two serves at a time (We could have ordered three), most times we received one serve and had to ask for another serve. Also, the service was slow and we had to keep calling for a waitress to serve us for food, cutlery, wine cooler or drinks.

Value for money! Best items tend to vary between visits e.g eggplant was fabulous once, so so on the next occasion. Love the sea weed.

Promt service and polite and neat waiters. Food was cooked well. A little bit crowded but a pleasurable experience. Looking forward to going again. We will encourage our friends to go.
