Too few staff for all the people who were there. Our order got lost so delayed 40 minutes so we had to race to finish within the allotted time frame

Food was tasty and came out in no time. So fresh and hot! A few of my friends have never been and they will be returning!

Amazingly fresh food. Great variety of dishes. Loved the byo option. Value for money for sure ($35 a head). A must visit restaurant in Geelong West.

Food was delicious and cannot complain about quantity being an all you can eat, some dishes were missed but when asked again were served, being so busy I can see this happens often but overall quite enjoyable. Tables could be spaced a bit more apart for some privacy

Most Excellent. Most places like this keep you waiting for food, but here they are most attentive and ensure that you are always well fed with some very tasty dishes.

We left after half an hour without ordering. We were not acknowledged the whole time we were there the restaurant was a quarter full and we still didn’t see a waiter! It was disgraceful service.....I guess you can’t really call it service because it was non existent! We walked past 3 staff when we were leaving and each one of them looked at us and just looked away! Then after we left someone from the kitchen had the nerve to come out and stare at us whilst they cleared our table! Have been here prior and loved the food but won’t be back after this rude experience

Delicious food! Not so great service:( We ordered a few times and waited a long time ,only to not get the food we’d ordered. Which is such a shame , because the waiting staff that was here when the restaurant opened were exceptional ! They never got orders mixed up and kept on top of things even when really busy. We were also placed at a table near the door and it was FREEZING every time it opened. It’s such a shame, the food here is so good, they just need to employ better staff.

My partner and I have been to Okami many times over the past 6 months, having a great experience every time. Unfortunately for this visit, we did not have the same experience. We brought our family with us as they had never been before and unlike our previous visits as a couple, we were seated in a small room to the side. Though the staff we’re lovely as usual, our tables were stacked full with finished plates for the entire night, only being cleared when we asked. I was under the impression that staff were very busy as we also had to walk out to the main room twice to ask for service and had to place multiple orders up to 3 times as they were missed each time. I’d love to try you again Okami, hopefully the service will be better next time.

The food was so fresh and full of flavour. Very good value for money. Will be back again talking about hosting our Engagement Party Dinner with family and friends.

Sushi again is ice cold and pre-made. Not prepared fresh. Ice cold fish and rice is not good. New (more expensive) menu is also not good. Smaller portions - we had to order many more times and service was extremely slow. Why have the salad leaves been taken off all the dishes? No more little salads with nice dressing. I also ordered an eggplant salad and received NO salad. Only eggplant. Please hire more staff. We couldn’t eat our meat with vegetables. First meat is delivered, then 20 minutes later vegetables arrive. No soy milk for coffee. Please cater for customers who don’t consume dairy. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be looking for their food. We received wrong food. The table next to us received wrong food also. If the restaurant is full, three staff members aren’t enough.

Beautiful Fresh food and wonderful service, only let down were tables are squashed together and not a personable experience. Will certainly be returning though, just for the food alone. This place is highly recommended for fast, fresh and beautiful produce.
