Okami - Frankston

Great food, and speedy service.. fresh and hot food! 👍

OKAMI never really fails to deliver no matter which suburb it is. Well except Doncaster that was so bad and they were so rude. Frankston was great though. Highly recommend trying out an OKAMI if you haven’t ever been. (Just not Doncaster lol).

We went at 5.45 the place was packed and very noisy. The food was good we had to order it ourselves and came out fairly quick The last item I ordered was an eggplant dish and I waited nearly half and hour. It came so crispy and the taste was not nice. So overall good but the last dish ruined the food for me

Ordered a few things that never came, so we ordered it again and still didn’t get it

Always amazing food and speedy service always consistently great all round.

Nice place to visit. All you can eat for a set price. We noticed the service slow down after we had a few servings. Had to ask to be served more. Other Okamis haven’t had this happen. Overall good visit.

This is the second visit to okami in frankston and had a great time. The staff were amazing and so was the food. I love that you can taste nearly everything on the menu because portion sizes just work if atleast 2 of you go.

This was our second time having lunch at Okami Frankston, they opened up on time@12pm on Sunday and when we sat down and ordered the food came straight away, the food was so fresh, even though they catered for our 25 family members they were so fast at serving. Our whole family will be visiting again Okami. To the Chief and the waitresses THANK YOU so much🙏🏾💛❤️

Would go back again. ( we had 2 kids under five and still had a good night )

Overall, Okami is a good place to go for good food and value for money. They have a great selection of dishes, and the quality is reasonably good. I don't quite understand why you can have all the meat and fish dishes you could possibly eat, but the dessert is hoarded like a dragon's gold, with only one dish each. The real letdown for this place is how they cram so many people in, meaning you're touching elbows with the people at the next table, and when the place is full, let go of any expectations of hearing the person opposite you when they are talking. If you get in early, though, before the crowds arrive, this isn't so much of an issue. Overall, a good eating spot if you like to sample all the Japanese foods.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Food was phenomenal, including helping out one guest with specific food requirements.

The food was great plate clearing could be better but the customer service was great.

Food was average, very salty, not a lot of variety, average service

Tables are turned I close together it is hard to not feel cramped and a little noisy

As usual the food was delicious. The noise level is a little high but there is probably not much to be done about that. The prices have risen since our last visit which now makes it an expensive outing. We love dining here but now only for special occasions as it is so much dearer.

Food and service were great. Using the app to order was painful as after every item entered it goes back to the start. I over ordered and hate wasting food. Probably not possible but it would be good if there was a way that it could be bought to attention that “perhaps” you are over ordering.

Not a fan of how they sit everyone so close together, they don’t space out the occupied tables and it can become too squashed

I checked the menu prior to going and saw wagu beef - I was looking fwd to eating prime beef to restore my iron levels , but it was very fatty and oily . Teriyaki beef tasted like msg - dog meat too ! I was disgusted and felt it a waste of my $ and time

Getting very expensive $45 per person, l know more than half my table wouldnt have eaten $45 worth, need to keep the costs down, but we had a very enjoyable dinner, food was fantastic, service good, we will come back.
