OKAMI - Footscray

Food quality was substandard and definitely not authentic Japanese Cuisine. Majority of the staff did not know how to speak English. Dishes ordered came out within 20 minutes of each other allowing for you to feel full in between meals (certainly a ploy to ensure that clients do not order much food from this buffet). Some meals we ordered didn't even arrive at all.

The food was nice and fresh. The service was good, friendly and fast. Price is reasonable! We’ll be coming back 😊 thanks for a great dinner.

The buffet all you can eat is not an "All you can eat". It's more like all you can order. Netherless, foods are good, variety of choice, fast, clean

Quality service, very quick after ordering with less than 5minute wait time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also the price is great for what you get. Would recommend.

OKAMI is an amazing place....it's the best AYCE sushi that $30 can buy you...The staff was lovely, great service...The range of sushis wasn't huge, but the whole package worth each dollar I paid for...Moreover, the homemade macha & sesame seeds ice cream is an awesome extra!

Food and customer service was fantastic, staff were prompt at taking orders and bringing food over within a good time frame The atmosphere was very family friendly. Booking was easy and simple to do,

Okami Footscray was providing good service and nice food! The prices are definitely worthy! highly recommended it! But I heard that not every Okami is as good as this one. So the one in Footscray is the best!

Good food. The service was prompt. All you can eat is good value for money. Seaweed salad and spicy calamari was pick of the dishes.

Tempura very oily and soggy at bottom. Dumplings not hot enough. Beef carpacciao and sashimi the best. Service fast and friendly but wouldn't go back there.

We had the all you can eat menu which was great. The selection is big, wait times short and makes the value for what you get amazing. We will definitely be back again!

The restaurant has nice atmosphere. The buffet menu also has many different choices. I enjoyed the meals quite well. The fried prawns and sushi are recommended.

Food comes out quick. but drink service was slow. food is always a+. Servers could Speak more English. ambience was good. waiting to be served was interesting- took 5mins to consult the computer.

Delicious food, good service, would recommend and visit again. Especially enjoyed the beef carparccio. Very quick to deliver dishes to the table as well. Yummy!

Took a while to be seated but once at the table service was efficient. Food was a bit hit and miss. The hits Good sushi but sashimi lacked variety only salmon. Fresh seeweed salad, excellent beef carpaccio but very bland steak terriaki. Good Saki

The food here is very good, plentyful and the staff are friendly. I would recommend you give this place a go and you won't be disappointed. The decor is in need of a little TLC but it doesn't detract from the quality of the food.

Fantastic jap food as always, and service is much better each time i come back, and serving time is getting quicker too. Only improvement is for desert.

Great service and good atmosphere. The beef carpaccio was probably the best dish next to the sashimi. Would recommend this little gem to anyone in the western suburbs!
