Great fresh food. It was busy in the restaurant which meant that it was noisy.

The food is always good at Okami and they catered well to dietary needs.

All food is yummy, the miso steak, miso soup, agedashi tofu, sesame ice cream 🫶🏻

not a bad resturant, this chain know how to do what they do, and they do it well, all the food is fresh and comes out as they are ready. Very close seating and noisey environment would be my only complaint

There was 6 of us. Food was well prepared and delicious. A corkage fee of $10 was extreme.

Second time coming in Footscray branch. Same vibes, same yummy foods, same excellent staffs. Serving is also fast like our first time when we came in this branch. Me and my friends will surely come back in any okami branch. I like the atmosphere, I recently dined at OKAMI Japanese Restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. For a all you can eat Japanese restaurant, this is great. We ate at the Albury restaurant and for a first time visit, the food was better than you would expect. It caters for non Japanese food as well as Japanese. There is lots of options to choose from, and it does not take long for the meals to be served. Be mindful that if you order something you must eat it, as you pay additional for wastage, which is fair. So please try it out as you will be pleasantly surprised and content

Went there on weekdays and the restaurant was not busy. Got food pretty quickly and the food was nice and hot.

Best restaurant in Melbourne, love the food and the variety. Great value for money

The staff were friendly and quick. There was a little confusion over how to use the ordering platform, but the staff helped us out. The only issue was not being able to split the bill. Every other aspect was thoroughly enjoyable.

Food was lovely but disappointing that a number of items that we ordered didn’t come out and when we check on them they hadn’t ordered and had to reorder. Party Of 5 inc 3 hungry male teens! Otherwise no issues!!

Food was good as usual. Beef teriyaki was a little bit more cooked than usual and the chicken keerage was a bit oily. Overall was a great experience as always.

Very slow for food to arrive. Had to keep asking for our order several times. One hot meat dish came out cold and not cooked in the middle. Tempura was oily and only 2 pieces of vege. A disappointing meal unfortunately. Won't be going to this store again. Hoppers Crossing is MUCH better and friendlier.

Unfortunately the service was not the same this time around, had to actually repeatedly call the staff over for service and sometimes more than one staff. Food was very slow to come out and not much attention was given! Good note was the food was beautiful as usual, compliments to the Chefs.🙏

Got our order wrong multiple times, took a long time to bring the food out and yet it was still cold each time. Quite a negative experience and it was my birthday dinner so i was quite disappointed.

Last time we visitedy (a few years ago) we had such a lovely time we decided to return for a birthday dinner. It was a very different experience this time. The staff were not unfriendly, just indifferent. The food was good but lacking sauces. It was just… okay. Sadly I think it will be our last visit.
