OKAMI - Footscray

Overall great experience, with fantastic food and nice staff. Minor critique however, we were a large group and were not told in advance that we could not split bill in order to arrange accordingly, and was only brought to our attention at the very end when we went to pay.

Great service as always. Their staff was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and arrived quickly. We always love going to Okami every time.

Recommended by a work colleague. Had lunch here today. Food was delicious and fresh. It really is all you can eat. A large selection to choose from. Very friendly staff and prompt service. We will be dining here again that’s for sure. Excellent value for money.

Fresh food provided and value for what I paid, waitstaff is helpful and friendly, nice atmosphere, no noisy, is a comfortable restaurant if you want to enjoy

Great Value for money. Service is really good considering it's an all you can eat place and some items are made on the spot. Portions are not too big, which is really good so you can try different items. I'll definitely go back

Food was good. Service was prompt. Sashimi wasn't the best and ice cream tasted like it had been in the freezer too long. Otherwise good value for money.

The food is fresh and the service was awesome. I have already recommended it to family and friends. A good place to catch up over good food.

The restaurant is packed on the weekend, make sure to come early or book first. When it’s packed the food comes really slow. But good value for the price

Our food came out on time, and it was very delicious. The waiters however, had forgotten a few of our dishes and drinks so we had to remind them a few times. Apart from that, I would definitely go back multiple times.

Not that great a selection of food. Can't get sashimi without a platter of sushi - which is really a waste. . . . .

In a constantly fast moving environment the staff brought dish after dish until I could eat no more. Heaven! The sashimi was the standout and there was plenty to be had.

Great service and amazing food. A must visit place, whether you go to Footscray or another of their locations amazing value!! Wait staff were friendly and genuine, catering to all needs.

Beautiful fresh food, vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff :) Even my 10 year old fussy eater enjoyed the meals. Definitely recommend a visit to Okami.

the beef teriyaki steak is delicious. friendly and fast service. my daughter loves the steak and one whole serving herself, and shes only 5! shes asked to come back here again. will be bringing my extended family next time.

Great friendly service. Food was very fresh. They were very accommodating with our last minute addition of one guest. Beef tartare was the stand out dish.

The food was alright followed by the service, although the fried food was a bit too oily and the menu was a bit greasy but i didn't mind much. There was limited food i kinda got a bit sick of eating the same food over and over. overall Okami was pretty good and i liked it and i would go there to eat again.

Great place! Went with a group of 8 and we really enjoyed ourselves. The food and the service was great and the staff were very fun and vibrant. Will definitely come again! We bout this place too.

You can’t beat the freshness of the food this restaurant serves, never disappoints. I’ve now been here 4 times with different people and they have all then taken their own families afterwards 👍

Food was awesome with a great selection to choose from topped of with an awesome black sesame ice cream and the service was even better. Definitely recommend for big eaters!!

The food was really good quality and the staff were more than happy to take your order whenever you wanted something else. The service was a little haphazard at times, one dish was forgotten three times and they delivered us the wrong beers but overall it was great value and really good food.

Always a pleasure at Okami Footscray. Took off one point as we had to wait about ten minutes for one of the dishes at the end and wasn't sure if it was forgotten or just took a while to cook. Also forgot about the request fora side of mayonnaise. One other comment is that the wait staff tend to rush by all the time and could check in to see if you want to order more without the customer having to try flag down waiters and waiting.

Was really looking forward to it, but unfortunately I had to order the same thing 3 times, and when it finally came out, it was the wrong order. Some of the food we had to wait for about 40 minutes. The quality of the food was average also. Definitely not worth it.

Staff are friendly...They served the food very fast...all food are excellent taste especially steak so tender...our kids loved it...good price for the food....easy to find place.parking is not too bad.kids loved it ...

Food was excellent and serving portions was a lot more than before and service us great as usual. The price has dropped a bit from $34/person to $32.80 so it was bonus.

Fantastic value for money. Would definitely go again. Friendly and super attentive staff. Can highly recommend the sushi platters, gyoza, edamame, tofu, gazpacho, tempura and black sesame ice cream

Service was very attentive, quick and friendly. Great value for money and tasty food. The Black sesame ice cream is to die for. Girlfriend loved the crispy chicken bites, KFC could learn a thing from Okami. Dishes arrived so quickly there was not an opportunity for awkward silences during the dinner date. We will definitely be back again.

I quite enjoy eating Japanese in different restaurants. What is good with okamis is that it's well portioned, very tasty and a great bonus of all you can eat. It doesn't feel like a buffet it feels like a proper restaurant. Staff very friendly, and the service is very good as well. Definitely I'll be going again soon . Oh and also the price is amazing. So worth it. 👍. The variety of food to choose from is what stop out the most to me.
