We had a great time @ Okami Footscray!!! The food is great and the service is top quality!!! Mildred the manger is very courteous and welcoming. We will definitely be back in Okami with all our friends and family and we will promote this restaurant to all for its good food, great service and it’s magnificent ambiance!!!

Really enjoy this place. The food was a bit slow and portions were a bit small but once the food come out it tasted great!

Absolutely Magnificent! Food was fantastic. We were a group of four and we tried almost everything on the menu. Some dishes 2 or 3 or 4 times! Each serve was enough for each of us to have a taste. What ever we loved we just ordered more. Staff were brilliant. So friendly and professional. I think the restaurant was fully booked on the night. It was totalky full, I dont think there was a spare seat anywhere. Yet the stafff looked after us like we were VIP's. Overall experience was so memorable. We will be recommending Okami Footscray to all our friends and to anyone else thinking of trying it. If you like Japanese food, or would like to try it.....make a booking here. Its awesome! For less than $33 each you can try everything on their menu. Unbelievable value. Cant wait to go back there :-)

Service was a little slow on the night we attended and waiter forgot our order. Normally its better I think it was just an off day. Food was as delicious as usual though.

The food was good and the service was great. The place was nice and clean but would definitely need a toilet renovation. Shout out to Mildred and Abigale and the rest of the staff for good service and hospitality.

The Ice Cream is amazing. Very yummy. I wish it was more than one scoop. Otherwise I found things a bit salty and oily. Sushi is mainly prawn or salmon - I wish there was more variety in fish. But you should definitely have the ice cream so yummy. Matcha ice cream and the black sesame ice cream were nice.

Great dining experience! All dishes were perfectly cooked and the seafood was fresh and delicious. Stand out dishes were the eggplant salad, beef carpaccio and the sashimi plate.

Great customer service and nice food, not sure I’ll go there again but it’s a good price in a good location. Hope that helps someone

Friendly Staff but service bit slow. Food was given in batches so got full even before half of the orders were served. When asked why, we were told busy shift so kitchen was a bit slow. Not good reason though as booking closes 3hrs before service so they pretty much know how many people they would be serving.

I’m so mad that I haven’t heard of this place years ago. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff are so friendly. The service is quick and the portion sizes are perfect. If you’re looking for an amazing meal at a great price look no further than this restaurant. 😊

Great place, can order as much as you like but for 4 people some of the portion sizes that come out were too small, we started to order 2 serves of things to counteract this.

Greeted with smiles upon entering. Very Friendly and polite staff members. The food came up Very fast. I found service to be faster then brunswick which we go to often. Food was delicious.

Best visit to Okami yet. Great service at the Footscray location. Only way it could have been better if it the tables weren't so close together.

Food was good. Service initially slow but improved. Good value overall. Accused of overordering by staff which was unnecessary but I am glad that they didn’t impose the unlawful fine.

Omgosh okami restaurant was absolutely amazing. Your meals came out quick by the very pleasant staff. The food was absolutely delish. We tried almost every dish and we were not a bit disappointed. We will definitely be returning and as for the price it is extremely affordable worth every cent!!!

Instead of cold buffet, they prepare your food as you order them. You just have to think about what you’d like to order next as you’re eating your first course. Relatively quick and friendly service.

This was our first time visiting Okami after hearing friends rave about it and it didn't disappoint. The staff were attentive, and helpful and the food was delicious. We went with a 2 and 5 year old and they also loved the food Highly recommend

Quality of food wasn’t as good as usual, been here a few time and food was always very tasty. The prawns didn’t seem fresh and we didn’t eat them

The food is yummy... you can order all the menu and stilll paying the same price, with a person service, maximum price and great food no wonder they have a winner.

Amazing food as always, and super quick. Only downside was that the door didn't close properly and consequently every time someone left or entered, we were in a draft. Really didn't take the shine off the experience though.

Great food and atmosphere. However a few dishes were not as hot as they should have been. Would go back. Miso steak was the best dish.

Went with a group of 8, and had a great time eating and chatting! Was a bit of a slow start to get menus and get our order taken, but once that was done, the food continuously kept coming! We basically tried everything on the menu and we weren't disappointed!
