Restaurant was abnormally busy for wednesday so minimal staff. They did such an amazing job. Food was fresh and didnt wait long for the dishes. I would definitely recommend

The waitresses and the manager are very friendly, still smiling despite how busy they are. Quick service but our order did not arrive and we have to order again.

Poor service and smaller portions than Brunswick store. Needs improvement.

It was great as usual although there was a new worker there who kept telling us we could only order x amount at a time (we’ve been here many times we know how much to order and how much we can eat)

it was a good experience. it’s really small though and at first we were placed a table with no room all the way at the wall and we were squished between two other families but we asked to move to another table which was more comfortable so that was good :)

We are frequent visitors to this restaurant, (5 times with various friends and family in 2019). This style of restaurant is very busy with a bustling kitchen and attentive staff that work overtime to fulfill orders. once you understand the ordering regime and the craziness of this style of dining it is always a pleasurable and fulfilling experience. The all you can eat concept comes with 1 single provision MINIMAL WASTE. To that end you cannot order more dishes until you empty all that has been delivered to your table. Otherwise there will be a surcharge to cover waste. everything is freshly made and your order comes in waves. The staff are polite, attentive and extremely accommodating. Don't arrive late for your sitting as the restaurant fills quickly and gets busy very quickly. After your initial order of dishes you will be left with a single menu to order subsequent rounds of dishes. Upon making a decision hold your menu up to get the staff's attention and you will be attended to quickly. If you are looking for an intimate, quiet, dining experience Okami may not be the place for you. if you are looking for value for money, healthy, delicious all you can eat Japanese, then give Okami a try. A family favourite for us

Super delicious food and a huge variety to choose from. Excellent value for money. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, seating and tables were very comfortable and the noise levels were good - and that was with the restaurant being completely full during our visit A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff at Okami Footscray, you made our visit such a wonderful and memorable experience. We look forward to our next visit. Highly recommend Okami Footscray.

Good was good enjoyed the all you can eat, but they just missed our eggplant order and we had to ask for it 3x. But other then that it was good. But the black sesame icecream has changed and not nice anymore. Please use the old recipe

so many limitation when ordering, they only allow you to order 2-3 dishes per time, but we have 5 persons. overall the food is good. we have all we wanted at the end.

I love dining at Okami. I have been several times during the week with work friends. Last night (Saturday) I took my husband for the first time. He loved it as much I do. The staff are fantastic, speed at which meals comes out is great and good is delicious and fresh. The restaurant was completely booked last night and still food and the service were perfect. There was a large group who were celebrating very loudly and doing a lot of shouting, which is why I noted the noise levels were not good in my review, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault. If you want a quieter dining experience, best head in on a week night. If you want delicious food at a great price, head to Okami.
