Okami - Cranbourne

Was very busy normally not a problem here but left off a couple of items off our order- despite us checking twice. 3rd time waitress said it was not put thru. We left without.

Food and service was great as it always is. However when it gets busy it’s quite loud and they still had the music on really loud.

Fantastic venue, all you can eat food is cooked fresh for you and the staff are very friendly. So much food we couldn’t possibly try it all. Will definitely go back.

On arrival, we were seated immediately and our order taken quickly. However our first lot of food was lukewarm. Next batch of food was piping hot. Fried rice serve was cold and smaller compared to other tables. Also during sunset the lack of blinds makes for a VERY unpleasant dining experience as you are completely blinded by the sun.

Really happy with the crew there, very welcoming and diligent , always a pleasure to dine there.

Food was too slow to serving to us and we kept receiving other people's plate of food. But once we had received our order wow the food there was so same delicious. Well done.

The food was either burnt cold or undercooked this by far is the worst experience at a restaurant I’ve had. The waitress were more into serving the bigger tables then the tables of 2 we waiting 15 minuets just for the person to come over then we also waiting about 30 minutes for steamed vegetables and for beef carpaccio really a massive let down If I wasn’t so polite I would not have even paid.

Food was delicious. Everything we ordered came out promptly & bursting with flavor & freshness. Will definitely be back

Truly authentic Japanese flavours, we love coming here. The food is great but the service is always exception. I required special attention due to an injury, they were more than happy to accommodate me.

The service was speedy, the staff are so friendly and polite, the place is so clean, the food is delectable and they even offered my kids a lollie pop as we were leaving. I even had my brother and his daughter and granddaughter turn up unannounced and the staff were more than happy to accomodate them eating with us. Overall, FANTASTIC restaurant and can not wait to go back! Thank you so much Okami!

All very knowledgeable of the menu. 23/24 dishes were excellent and the 24th was too salty, boiled vegetables. I am on salt reduced diet and so a little bit sensitive to the amount of salt. All told great atmosphere and great food

Very Noisy, did not care that people had bookings, just took people through without checking. Waited 20 minutes to not be served but people that came in after us were served and had food. No one came past to check on us at all in that 20 minutes and could not get a hold of staff as they either could not hear over the noise or were avoiding making eye contact as they could not take orders

Our family was very happy with the quality of food and the service. Miso steak was the absolute favourite, but other dishes were also delicious. The service was attentive, polite and fast. We usually don't tip, but this time we did. Highly recommended!
