Okami - Chirnside Park

The food was great as usual, but it could’ve been hotter. Service was great.

Family group of 8 people. Some of the dishes we ordered never came, even after we asked about them. We received some dishes we hadn't ordered, we received the wrong number of some dishes. Dishes were not put in the middle of the table, but in front of people, even on top of used napkins. Took a while to clear used serving plates. Towards the end of the evening the service slowed down and we had long waits for food to arrive. We had a nice evening in spite of these issues, as we had gathered to celebrate a family birthday.

Good value for money with lots of choices. I like that the food is served at the table and you can have as many servings as you like, not like a typical buffet. Food was delicious and seafood was fresh.

Table service slow. As usual seems there’s not enough staff. Don’t really consider it value for money although the food is nice

Great place to eat and Great value for money..... usually. New Years Eve is probably not the best time to visit. Very noisy and busy. The food came very slow so we didn’t get true value for money in our allocated seating time frame. Front of house staff were very apologetic and friendly. Table staff, too stressed to care.

Service very slow even for drinks Food nice just way understaffed. Then mucked everyone around regrading splitting the bill and tried demanding cash. The card machine they have is specifically for split bills. Shame because the food was quite nice.

Very nice. Took family there for dinner. 1 doesn’t eat Japanese but we got him to try it. He loved the chicken karage & the mayo that went with it. Great service & Jenny is always friendly along with the other staff.

It was very good We had long waits for tea and ice cream but they were very busy

Very noisy. Food service was fast but we asked for champagne glasses (twice) and it took about 15-20 mins for wine glasses to arrive. Had to ask two additional times for an ice bucket. Trying to get a waiters attention was hard as they would rush in drop things off and disappear without looking around to see if anyone at nearby tables wanted anything more. It seemed to me to be understaffed for the amount of people there. I have been here several times and have never seen it this understaffed.

Staff were friendly and food and drink service was really quick. My mother is hard of hearing so when it got busy it got harder for her to hear but she loved it and would go back for a weekday lunch when it is quieter.

Shocking noise levels, screaming children everywhere knocking things over and bumping our tables/chair, nobody was doing anything about them. The food was so slow it was ridiculous, staff seemed very indifferent and had no initiative whatsoever, we had dirty glasses and dishes on our table most of the evening, orders took way too long and when we asked what was happening with our food we were brought the wrong dish. Overall disaster, food was okay but not great. Franchise owner needs to implement an experienced manager to bring some order to the place.

Dishes came out one at a time! Not together. Had to ask for forks three times. Drinks order was wrong, but happily replaced. Waitress came to advise last orders, and when told we were still waiting on dishes, the order was duplicated. Good was great, staff and timing is the problem. Ice cream was served when still waiting on dishes. Happily taken back Nd returned at end

It was my first time coming to Okami and I really enjoyed the experience, the food was amazing and the price was well worth it. I would definitely recommend it to others and dine there in the future.

Food was awesome & served quickly, staff were great when ordering. I did book for a 7.45 session asking for access for a pram and someone on crutches but I don't think we reserved table was reviewed as when we arrived there was no table reserved. Otherwise everything else was great.

We enjoyed our dinner at Okami. The food was good and good value! It was at times hard to get a waitress to notice us (to order more food) but at other times they checked in on us. Overall, enjoyed it and would be back!
