Okami - Braddon

We went there many times, friendly staff and nice food! But I won’t come again, the lady was very rude and food was terrible taste today. So disappointed！

Lots of varieties and we love it! We will be back

The wait time for the food was a little too long. The staff were not friendly and basically delivered the food and said nothing. Good customer service makes a big difference in relation to your dining experience. We were also charged a public holiday surcharge, even though it was a Saturday and not a public holiday.

Food was amazing as were the cocktails! Staff were lovely and attentive! The new QR code table ordering is also amazing can't wait to return!

All you can eat Sunday lunch was delicious. The food is really good. The food comes out well paced ordering a few dishes at a time by phone. Lovely way to eat. Wasn't very busy, Easter Sunday, so the noise level was low. Extremely pleasant experience. Look forward to our next visit.

The service is friendly. The steak texture is so dry like jerky. Most of the deep fry items taste weird, feel like the frying oil it’s stales. That can be improved.

I took my nephew for his first Okami experience. Overall it was a great meal and he enjoyed it. There was some lag with dishes, dishes ordered in the first round arrived later than a second or third round order. The new system of phone ordering is fine, but a bit harder to see what you're ordering. I preferred the old system, because I could see the meal photo on the paper menu and would discuss what to get with my party. The photo is a lot smaller on my phone.

So good, food nice, delicious and tasty. I will come back again

Good value. Service is prompt. However, wrong dishes delivered and some dishes ordered but did not turn up until questioned.

Food was so so, plus we were asked to put in our last order at 7pm when we arrived at 6pm. Felt very rushed, not sure if I would ever return

Reasonable pricing for all-you-can-eat. Delicious sushi, beef carpaccio and steak.

We have been before multiple times, last night the store has changed there ordering to a QR code that doesn't accommodate Gluten friendly menu. Staff took our order then didn't come back for 30mins after we had to wave to them, once we placed the second order the drinks were not added to this order. The waiter gave our food three times to the table next to us from them to eat or half eat then send it back. Food served was average compared to last visit. We will be trying else where after this visit

The food was great as usual but the service was a bit dismal. If you’re having a conversation they would just shove the food in front of your face so you could put it down somewhere instead of saying excuse me I’ve got this dish… so on and so forth So overall good but needs improving

We have been to Okami many times but were disappointed to discover that ordering has moved to scanning a QR code and ordering from your phone. Now while this is ok if only done once, as Okami is All you can eat, it is done many times in the one sitting. I found having a phone out to scroll through and order was really intrusive to our family dining experience and really lowered the experience of the evening. Sadly, I will be thinking twice about returning because of this.

Everything was okay for an all-you-can-eat. The sashimi, chicken wings, takoyaki and beef carpaccio were good. However, the sushi and nigiri were let downs as the rice was dry and crumbling, as well as not having the signature vinegar flavour. The tempura was also unfortunately borderline soggy, the green tea taiyaki was really oily, and the chicken karaage was slightly burnt with a very thick batter.

I have loved coming to Okami now for years but we felt a bit rushed today to leave. I was therefore pretty disappointed after getting what I thought was an extra portion of rice but when not completely finished on paying was stung with a surcharge. I do not like wasting anything especially food but if you do this to customers, at least give them the choice to finish this food even off premises.

The Katsu & Karaage were over cooked to the extent that they were dark brown and tasting almost burnt - left too long in the deep fryer - the rest was delicious. Poor kitchen skills

We celebrated my wife's birthday with friends at Okami. Great food, great service and well priced. Would definitely go again.

The food was delicious and had a great time all around

Monday evening, there were not too many people and it was a pleasant cozy atmosphere. The team was very accommodating of our needs. We were able to have 'all you can eat' option for part of our group and a la cart for the rest. The food was nice and we all enjoyed some yummy mocktails.

Excellent service and hospitality from the staff. The food was just out of this world. I’ll certainly be a regular at the restaurant.

Had a really great experience, the service was quick and friendly and the staff were helpful and welcoming. Food was great with lots of vegetarian options.
