The service was very good but the food was average. The clear chicken broth was too salty and the gravy was too sweet. Too many typical Malaysian dishes were missing from the menu namely curry laksa and Soto ayam. Won’t be returning.

Good malaysian food, decent serving sizes - the tasting plate is excellent if you're not sure what to get, or if you want a little bit of everything!

I love the Nasi Lemak. One of the best in town. The restaurant atmosphere is bright and pleasant with a good view surrounding the glass windows.

A convenient place for a somewhat late dinner as it located near where I stay. Usually not busy as well which is another plus point.

EXcellent, I brought my Aussie friends who have not been there before and they liked the food too. I only don't like raw bean sprouts.

Bad service. Four of us went for lunch, and there was a problem with every order. They forgot the coffee order. Forgot to put in a meal order so one person had to wait another 30 minutes for their meal. Made two other orders wrong, then charged us extra because of their mistake. Interrupted our meal to ask what they had brought us and ask to charge us for it. Would think they would instead provide a discount for the poor service, instead the meal was more expensive.

We haven’t been back here for more than a year as we live up at Joondalup area. The food is still as good as we can remember. Very authentic and delicious Malaysian food. Service is always friendly and smiley . We love this place, it will be good if they open another eatery up north!

The roti canai is still my favourite - flaky and crispy. You can get both the sambal and curry sauce for an extra $1, which is what we always do! Dinner costs less than $20pp (with free chilled tap water).

The roast chicken rice is flavoursome home-style cooking. My family requests the leg part (because chicken breast is more healthy but a bit dry). The chilli is tangy and quite spicy!

Fantastic Malaysian fare with the Nasi Lemak being the best we tasted in town, particularly the Nasi Lemak bungkus. Pungent fluffy coconut rice with tangy spicy sambal and all the classic components! Also, lucky enough to taste the pulut panggang from the weekend kuih range! absolutely delicious, definitely has become our regular go to spot for authentic Malaysian flavours! Plus service was warm and unpretentious, seriously no reason for not returning!

Fantastic experience each time. Good authentic Malaysian fare in a cosy family friendly restaurant. Foods can take a bit of wait when busy but the foods made their own justice. Definitely be coming back ;-)

Has a rather good selection of Malaysian cuisine with somewhat reasonable prices and serving size although certain dishes could be improved upon for example the curry that comes with the roti canai / roti telur is a bit watery and too oily.

Kari Ikan is highly recommended. However the daging masak lemak was a bit disappointing as the meat was too tough and the potatoes should've been cooked longer.

This small suburban Malaysian place is a secret you don't want anyone to know about. Intensely flavoured food, well cooked and plated with style. The place is fairly new and spotlessly clean and light. Service is friendly, unobtrusive and efficient and a perfect fit for the relaxed nature of My Rasa. A word of warning: the place is neither licensed or BYO. No alcohol allowed. They do make good juices and drinks. A night off alcohol is probably a good thing ...
