Food was fabulous as usual. Customer service was really disappointing and the atmosphere was quiet unlike when it was at the London. Part of our food order did not arrive

Great food love the turkish pizzas and miss the watermelon salad but the cucumber salad was delish as well. Service is always good highly recommend

Delicious food! Did not have any bad dishes. We ordered the meatballs, Turkish pizza. Lamb kofte, Tagine, and a couple of other things. Everything was amazing. Great view and setting as well. The cheesecake dessert was fantastic!

Great food and great service, we come here at least 3 times a month. They have recently also changed the menu , some new things to try but all great.

I am a regular at Mr Lawrence and always enjoy dining there. This was my first time at the new venue and it was light, fresh and comfortable. The service is friendly and not obtrusive. The menu was delicious as always. My girlfriends and I thoroughly enjoyed our night.

The food is always fabulous and the staff are great. Very friendly. I do like the new location too. It's been set up really well.

The new location for Mr Lawrence is great, with an amazingly large dining room with beautiful views over the bay. The food too is just as good as it's ever been however the service needs some attention. Staff were not observant when we needed attention, busy talking amongst themselves and not providing the right advice when we ordered. This lead us to order side dishes we didn't need when the mains we ordered already included very similar ingredients and lead us not to even touch these items. Better training for the staff on their menu knowledge, sales skills and on how to assist guests to order would improve the overall experience considerably.

The new location is great - more spacious and the views of the bay are better too. We ordered three dishes and the waiter/kitchen (we were not asked) assumed it was all to share; it wasn't all to share - just the salad. The food was enjoyable - especially the feta and water melon salad. Overall, it was a good experience and we will continue to dine there.

The food was excellent and the staff very knowledgeable. Great wine selection and wonderful cocktails available. Fantastic view of the bay from the upstairs balcony. We will definitely be back.

Saturday night and we had fabulous service in a great environment - the food is excellent and would recommend sharing to enjoy the total experience .

The food was fantastic and the service very efficient and friendly. Great view out over Port Phillip Bay. We will definitely be heading back here soon.

Always love going to Mr Lawrence, their food is relaxed and friendly. My only feedback was the staff seemed less friendly than normal. Am sure this was just a blip as not experienced before and will be back.

As always the food was delicious and the staff very pleasant. I took a guest for her first time visit and she left after the meal stating the food and the facilities were delightful. I'm have no doubt she will be back - and I will continue to bring guests.

The staff are all different now that it's moved. The food isn't great and a lot of the stuff in the menu they don't have, the trout and certain beers. I was disappointed as there's only a few things I can eat and there was no offer of helping me, so I was stuck with a salad. Also the pizzas weren't cooked enough and the staff weren't very friendly. I was a mr Lawrence fan at the London but unfortunately I don't think I will be anymore.

Nice bright new premises - we sat upstairs and the open balcony with bay views was great! Food is always excellent at Mr Lawrence, no matter where they are sited!

The food was very good - as expected from the previous location - and the service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed ourselves and will return.

Great menu with good selection and very friendly staff. My favourite menu items, Falafel, Hummus, Turkish Pizza: Pastrami, chicken and Mushroom. The atmosphere is good but I like more their old location at the London Hotel.

We have received much better customer service ..the staff was quite lost and not very helpful in helping us with better seating Nd exploring options with drinks and zero smiles ..

Food was good as usual however new venue lacks the atmosphere of the London, ie not as intimate. But service was good and we hope that with time it will be as good as before!! We will be back!

Fantastic venue & delicious food. We are regulars at Mr Lawrence as we always know we will have a good time. Great to go with a group of friends

Beautiful food and atmosphere at Mr Lawrence. The service was also top notch. There is nothing better than looking out over the Tasmanian Ferry at Station Pier.

Always great food, creative, innovative, tasty and enjoyable. Restaurant has never disappointed. Service levels can be variable but never worse than average. Would recommend to anyone seeking a middle eastern food experience.

The food was delicious and the pimp was nice. We ordered varieties of small and larger plates for sharing and they all tasted so good.

Food was good. Service was slow and we felt a little like we were left constantly waiting to order. Not sure if it was because we were sat in the back room, but wasn't up to the usual standard we are use to at Mr Lawrence.

Always consistent - always inspiring and always great. Have been going here for some time, and always love it. Sad its moving, but only down the road;) Highly recommended!

We all thought the food was excellent and very tasty and the service was very good. The margaritas and martinis were perfect and well consumed

Back again for another great feed. Variety of food and a diverse wine list with good service in a lovely old building right by the bay.

The venue was dull and uncomfortable. The food and drinks were very expensive and not really enjoyable as the portions were very small. Would not go there again.

It is a casual restaurant but the venue, the location and the food was great. We ordered 4 dishes to share and everything we ordered was tasty.

A great time had by all... as usual, the food and atmosphere were perfect for a Sat afternoon lunch by the water. Relaing and comfortable.

WE had a Friday evening booking and it could not have been more enjoyable. Fabulous food and friendly staff. Great cold beer on tap and a great view.

Good food, friendly staff and good views. They are moving down the street though which makes them marginally less convenient but hopefully they will be just as good in their new location.

Great ambience love the decoration at the new home of Mr Lawrence Food is great menu still the same one of my absolute favourites is the Vegetable Tagine with Zucchini fritters . We are regular visitors to this wonderful place with its beautiful view .

Mr Lawrence's food is fantastic, but tonight, being a Monday was supposed to be $10 pizzas. Three were charged at $10 and one at $19 something - which was a disappointing end to an otherwise great evening.

I had dinner at the restaurant on NYE. The food was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the pork belly special, and it came out very quickly. The service was very good and it was all reasonably priced. I am definitely going back and have already recommended it to my friends.

Mr L always provide great food, good wines and lovely service. It's a great place, lunch or dinner. We are very happy it's our 'local'.

The service was very good and the food was just what we wanted, sharing and flavoursome. There was a mixup with our table but the staff sorted it in a really professional manner

The food was amazing. Every dish was delicious and fresh. Unfortunately the service was terrible until I believe the manager took over. We were a party of 3. We sat at our table for 25 minutes till we had to ask for menus and water ( all other tables we given them straight away) We ordered drinks to start. We had to wave the waiter down 20 minutes later to place our order. He repeated the order, so all good. The food started arriving but our drinks we ordered prior hadn't arrived. Flagged down the waiter to follow up. They were sitting on the bar waiting to be delivered ( I assume had been there quite a while ) We finished the first 3 dishes . . where are the other 2 ?? which were a salad and fries so shouldn't take 20 minutes longer than the other hot dishes we already had. Flag down the waiter again . . . .I think I forgot to order them was his response !! We flagged down a different waiter to order an addition dish. We expressed our disappointment with the service so far and he replied that he was not responsible for the area we are seated in. . .So, the manager I believe came and took over. She was great, full of personality, energy, checking on us, see if we wanted anything else. It was a great experience from there on . . I suppose, I'm disappointed there was no apology, no offer of service recovery not a free drink or a free dish was offered. Especially when 60% of the evening we endured careless and unorganised service. I think we were unluckly. . I would still highly recommend this venue for the great food and location if nothing else.

Delicious savoury dishes, best Turkish pizzas! The desserts were a bit hit and miss. What about something simple like medjool sticky date pudding or fresh Turkish delight?

Great service. Really nice food and ambience. Had Randang curry that had great depth of flavours. Would order it again. Booking on line was efficient.

Excellent food , great atmosphere. Staff were personable without being overbearing. Staff had excellent knowledge of the menu and were able to answer questions thrown at them.

Yummy food. Great location. Service a little slow. One meal served was not what was ordered but was provided on a complimentary basis while the correct order was made up. No problem.

A place with a great view, fantastic food and the best local beer melbourne and Australia can offer. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating. Thanks for the evening.

Excellent service and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Our request to be seated near the window also worked out. Can truly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining out experience.
