Dinner for 4. Fantastic service once again. Booked for 6.30 but changed at late notice to 7 pm. No drama.Great food , look forward to returning again soon.

Great food and view of the Bay even at night

I was a little disappointed that my favourite lamb kofta and fennel salad was gone from menu. Not sure the menu as good as before but staff as excellent as ever. Will continue to try more menu items.

Always guaranteed fantastic food and service at Mr Lawtence and again they did not disappoint. Highly recommend the pulled lamb shoulder, and the Moroccan Eton mess for dessert was AMAZING!

Great food, great wine list, great service. So lucky to have such a fabulous friendly local place to eat and drink. A great go to for visitors to Melbourne too!

Really tasty middle eastern style food in a great atmosphere with good service. Also a good wine list which is a plus, although I do recall it being better when it first opened.

Mr.lawrence has a fantastic location overlooking the beach and spirit of Tasmania pier. They have a great selection of food and the service was equally good.

Great tasty, interesting middle eastern food. Good atmosphere overlooking Port Melbourne beaches but high level of noise. A good spot after a day on the waterfront.

The food is always fantastic but the service could improve, it's not as sharp as it could, or should be. If they get that right it would top it off perfectly

Both the food & service was fantastic! Our waitress was brilliant, she definitely made our lunch relaxing & enjoyable. Unfortunately I can't remember her name...I wish I could as she deserves a thank you!

Great location. Friendly service. Turkish Pizzas are awesome. Dessert great. My friend loved our lunch so much she went back again for dinner on the same nite!

Lovely food and great views however the decor needs updating and the price is definitely inflated due to the location. Overall service was good. The Turkish pizzas are great!

Loved the watermelon salad and the lamb pizza was sensational.as were the scallops and calamari .casual atmosphere and great service. Thoroughly recommend this great venue.

Surprising mix of understated cool and tasty Middle Eastern treats with some interesting food combinations - concrete floor means it's a tad noisy but I'd definitely make a return visit. Good casual dining.

Overall a nice evening. Happy staff - who could have been more attentive. Food was great except for the Calamari - that was over cooked........

Food was really good, service not bad and lovely table overlooking the bay. Wasn't desperately impressed when bowl of aoli dropped on floor and had aoli over my boots and jeans 😕 And no way to clean it up..

Simply the yummiest food, great location and great service. We had a large group with 8 children and staff went out of their way to ensure all went smoothly.

Terrific food menu and great drinks options to cater for everything from quiet session to serious sit-down meal. Friendly staff and upbeat atmosphere make for a great place to spend a few hours. Will be back!

The food was light but with exciting flavours from North Africa and Middle East. The dishes worked well for sharing. We had 2 pizzas, 2 smalls, 2 mains and flat bread - plenty for 6. The Turkish pizzas were great. We couldn't resist sweets - just a taste was all that we needed. Would highly recommend.

The service was outstanding! We had hoped to sit outside but due to an enormous downpour we ended up inside. Still had a view of the bay through the windows, enjoyed the poppy seed cheesecake and the prawn and halloumi fritters so much! The pizzas looked great and we plan to go back soon.

Good service, great menu. One of our party was lactose intolerant and was therefore given a different menu to chose from. Look forward to returning soon.

Great atmosphere and wonderful food with decent sized portions. There is an extensive menu to keep everyone happy. Meatballs were sublime! All the meals coming out to other tables smelled and looked really good.

Was a great night - Monday is busy as it is $10 pizza but the atmosphere was great and service friendly. Food was yummy and good portions.

The atmosphere at Mr Lawrence is lovely with great bay views. We really enjoyed the Turkish lamb pizza and the wine list is different with a wide choice.

Food was great. The waiter insisted on taking our order without pen and paper and consequently got it wrong. It wouldn't have been an issue if he wasn't so offended by our request to write it. Perhaps he could have shown a lottle more humility.

It was a totally enjoyable dining experience. Welcomed by the friendly staff, we were seated upstairs. The food was delicious, tasty, spicy but not to hot. Good value for money.

Food was good, as always. Service was a bit lacking. Ordered bread with three people at the table, got two pieces- with hommus. (?) Waited for drink order to be taken... Where not asked if we want dessert or anything else. Had better experiences at Mr Lawrence!

Great ambience and beautiful views over the beach from upstairs. Friendly and timely service. Food was of high quality although portions were on the smaller size.

Enjoyed delicious chicken skewers and a very filling cauliflower, seed and pomegranate salad. Service was friendly and efficient . Overall a pleasant experience. Would definitely return

This restaurant has always been fabulous. Located overlooking the water, it has great food ... healthy, interesting and delicious. Interesting wines by both the glass and bottle and a good selection of beers. We’re local, and it’s one of our favourites. Highly recommended when you’re in Melbourne.

Excellent restaurant, very pleasant staff, great variety of food! Have been here several times pre and post-move to latest premises. Food remains the same high quality.
